I will stay with this company forever due to the fact they have American customer service! You are not AI'd into oblivious with some idiot chatbot. Or my favorite when you hit the foreign places with low IQ dumb dumbs that can't do anything. When I call I always get the Indiannapolis office and the staff are PHENOMENAL! Just great, they are so knowledgable and helpful. Really appreciate this Schwab and Indy!!! Thank You!!!! ;)

I've been a customer of Charles Schwab for multiple years now. Their customer service is some of the best I have ever experienced. I also really appreciate how they reimburse all ATM fees. I will continue to use them for banking and brokerage services for the foreseeable future.

My daughter has had ongoing account service problems that numerous phone calls did not solve for two years. We walked into the West Plano office and Jane Or identified and fixed the issue in ten minutes. Thank you Jane!

I'm confused by these reviews! Charles Schwab has been awesome! They reimburse ATM fees from other banks and their live chat people are super helpful! I love CS!

Truly, the best customer service out there. Hard to beat. They're all very smart, super super solution-oriented, and just easy to talk to. The website and app isn't the prettiest but fairly easy to navigate around. Straightforward. Barely minimal changes which I prefer. The services offered is enough for my needs. Their benefits remain same which I like. ATM fees reimbursed worldwide.

Compared to Principal, Schwab is great. ThinkorSwim is a solid trading platform. Funds seem to take a long while to settle but the fees are night and day compared to Principal

I've been using Charles Schwab for banking for 11 years (and investing more recently), and they have been excellent across the board. I felt the need to add my review as I simply don't recognize the company being described in the flood of 1-star reviews. - Customer service is consistently quick and helpful. I almost never need to call, but when I do my wait is only a minute or two, and the reps I speak to are always friendly and informative. - The banking side is basically flawless. Free checks, free debit card, very on top of suspicious activity (which is easily resolved over text), no ATM fees, etc. The only drawback is that there isn't really a way to deposit cash, so if you need cash flow a local bank account is crucial. - While I know many people are upset that Schwab doesn't have an auto-sweep in their investment accounts (like Fidelity), I'll gladly take the trade-off seeing that they seem to be allergic to charging me the kinds of fees you see from Chase or BoA. Now that they are rolling out fractional shares of ETFs, it's basically a moot point. - Unlike many online banks, Schwab supports wire transfers from your brokerage account. This was extremely helpful when I closed on my first house. - Now that I'm investing, I've been very impressed with the tools and site layout. If you don't know what something means, there is probably a tooltip right next to it to explain. You can absolutely make a stupid mistake, but if you do it wasn't for a lack of information. Just speaking generally, in 11 years of doing business I can't recall any significant issue, and they always make me feel like my business is valued. This was true even when I was working part time and living paycheck to paycheck. I can't speak to the local investment branches as I haven't been to any, and I also can't speak to the horror stories in these 1 star reviews as they are so different from my own experience. I do find it at least somewhat suspicious that so many of them seem to be hyping up other companies and products that nobody has heard of. There's a reason that Schwab is consistently brought up in discussion alongside other reputable investment firms such as Vanguard and Fidelity. I would easily recommend Schwab to anyone I know, either for banking or investing.

Investing since 1980 with many firms and banks .. I must say Schwab is the best in every area .. since they bought thinkorswim .. no issues service and tools are top rate
