Runway changed a paid feature during my active subscription
I am an active Runway Max subscriber using the platform for an ongoing film production. My issue is not simply the price. My issue is that Runway changed access to an important feature during an active paid subscription. When I subscribed, creating a custom voice from a text description was available in my workflow for a relatively small credit cost. During the same subscription period, this option was changed and now redirects me to upgrade to a Team plan that requires a much higher monthly payment. For a professional user, this is a serious problem. A subscription decision is based on the features available at the time of payment. If a company wants to change pricing or feature access, I believe those changes should apply to new subscriptions or at renewal, not in the middle of an already paid subscription period. This kind of change makes it very difficult to trust the platform for long-term production work, especially when voice continuity is important across an ongoing project. Runway has powerful tools, but changing paid access conditions during an active subscription damages confidence in the service.
