Extremely disappointing for the price I purchased a yearly Runway subscription expecting to be able to create realistic, usable AI videos. After spending a significant amount of time and credits trying different prompts, reference images, and video concepts, the results have been consistently disappointing. Even fairly straightforward concepts produced videos with unrealistic movement, inconsistent objects, strange details, and results that were nowhere near usable for professional social media content. I also had generations fail during processing, which made the experience even more frustrating. For a product marketed around high-quality AI video generation, I expected considerably better—especially after paying for an annual subscription. At this point, I’ve spent more time trying to get Runway to produce something usable than it would have taken me to film the content myself. I’m now requesting a refund for my annual subscription. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Runway for anyone expecting reliable, realistic video generation for professional content.

Absolutely terrible: The program doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, and halfway through processing a video, you’re forced to pay extra. Once you do, you eventually find out that the end result is extremely disappointing and simply downright bad. When you then complain and realize that you’ve paid way too much and want your money back, you get the response: “Well, you used your credits, so no refund.” Do not use this!

They are still insisting that "by logging in" I can unsubscribe, which is an outright lie. The unsubscribe does nothing more than prompt more messages to try to get you to rejoin. It is a frigging tech company and you cant tell me they cant simply erase my data? but we are supposed to trust a company with one star reviews with many, like myself, wishing there was a O star option to let them know how we really feel

Horrible experience, horrible customer service. Ai can even keep the clips in the same clothes, people size and age change per clip. you have to pay again yo have things fixed and they still mess up. No refunds on bad quality generations. Stay away

It’s literally a scam . Those guys should be arrested , and the people at apple that allows criminal like them sell this shit on Apple Store . I am furious . Don’t know where to begin . They are going to steal your money like they stole mine and so many others . THE WORST APP I HAVE EVER SEEN . It’s a criminal organisation . Simple .

Please do not pay for this product. It is essentially a scam. Paid for the standard plan to do some tests for product videos. Was unable to complete a single video with the standard plan credit allowance. DO NOT BUY THIS

Expensive/poor quality I prompted for a gentle breeze on a curtain, and it was like a hurricane was blowing. I asked for changes, and it generated the same video 3 times. My minimalist product campaign looked like a creepy horror story set in a sterile hospital. I made two videos, and it asked for more credits even though I paid for a standard subscription. Cancelled everything and should have asked for a refund.

Absolutely the worse. I tried getting my money back and basically they just “ha ha ha “ me and said f no. They are unprofessional and the videos are too expensive to make. Please go somewhere else
