Good course

Years ago, I ordered the FTF full course. I joined the FTF community on Facebook hoping to share tips and look for work. Unfortunately, instead, I found members who spouted misogynistic things like “women aren’t as good as men at filmmaking because they are too busy competing for male attention, so FTF shouldn’t hire any.” When asking support to perhaps remove this or stand up for women, they could do nothing as per Parker’s orders. Instead, Parker himself posted that everyone should police themselves (while deleting comments that didn’t agree with him) ensuring that the community would be neither safe nor welcoming for women. I could not get a refund, so I have tried many times to go back and watch the courses because I do think there is good information in there. But every time I try I feel a stress knot in my stomach because of that experience with Parker. I wish I hadn’t purchased FTF. I wish I hadn’t joined the Facebook community, but more than that, I wish that they understood what all social media platforms do: that when you let people “police themselves” then the loudest, worst parts of the majority become their face, and failing to stand up for women as filmmakers will never be okay.

The content is excellent, as is the support. The online community is both helpful and active. I highly recommend FTF for anyone starting out or looking to level up their skills.

Best course you can buy for filmmakers. It will teach you how to shoot and how to build a business. I started a year ago and today I'm running a production company full time! Best value for money!!

Anytime a young videographer asks me for advice on how they can get started (or how they can improve their skills) I always encourage them to invest in their business and buy the Full Time Filmmaker course. This course helped me go from knowing very little to working full time as a videographer/content creator. I landed my first clients using principles I learned in the course and I also improved my skills to help me land bigger opportunities down the road. This course is worth every penny at full price and they are always running promotions so make sure to jump on those. Forever grateful to Parker and the FTF team for sharing this with the filmmaking community.
