scammers, charged me for appointments that were already covered by my insurance. edit: after reaching out to their customer support no action was taken after I was repeatedly assured they would be in touch. don’t use this provider they don’t care about their patients

So i was referred from my Doctor to see a Psychologist, I thought it would take one visit from a Therapist asking me abunch of Screener questions but it been like 4 weeks and I am barely going to see a Psychologist in a week or two. I am trying to do this so I can finally get the help I need in school but if I get it too later, It really wouldnt matter since I would lose some of their more important benefits.

Finding an amazing therapist who aligns with you energetically can be a challenge, but I've been very lucky with Rula. My current therapist, who just so happened to be the first that I scheduled with here, has honestly been the best therapist I've ever seen. It seems that Rula has high standards for who they allow to practice through their platform, and the bio feature that they have for each therapist makes it easy to find the right match. Scheduling is very straight forward and the appointment reminders are super helpful!

The therapist spent the first two sessions questioning me, making sure I would be willing to follow their lead when we started to unpack all of the various traumas I have lived through. Then she spent the first twenty minutes of session three convincing me she needed to use a generic guidebook for our sessions. She then stated she was unqualified to take on my case, told me she was putting me back in the system for referral and ended the call.
