Therapists repeatedly no-show. I'm a psychiatrist whose patient sought therapy with Rula. At the first two video appointments, the therapist never signed on. When she rescheduled a third time, i tried to reach the new therapist to warn her of what a fragile state my patient is in. I spoke to an administrator who said they would pass this message on. Instead, the patient later told me the therapist had sent a rescheduling message because "it is not appropriate to meet with a patient who is already in a hospital waiting room." What??? My patient is an articulate and insightful young woman who has never been hospitalized. It seems these therapists only want to treat the worried well? This experience actively lowered my patient's mood further.

Very easy to make appointment w providers

I have been counseling with Ashley for several months now and I think I have come a long way. She is very wise and compassionate. She is a very very good listener but also helps you get a plan and helps you to stick with it to accomplish your goals. I have never had a counselor like her before and am so grateful!

Using the platform Rula allows you to receive the support you need fairly quickly. You are able to browse and read about the provider with whom you will be working with before you commit to one. This allows you to match the provider to your specific needs. It is also fairly easy to use the portal and what I love most is that you don’t have to wait weeks before you begin receiving support.
