Scheduling with Rula has been so amazing for my autistic brain. I always worry about scheduling and it is one of the hardest and most stressful parts of doing adult t hi bugs like therapy and so having my therapist automatically schedule me for the same time every week without me having to do anything is honestly incredible for me.

The member onboarding experience is terrible. There's no ability to create a log in. You have to enter your email, go back to your email app, retrieve a code, then log in. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It's a short sighted decision by who ever authorized the product to be built this way. I'm a parent with two children who need care. Can I add their profiles under a single email for my account? I can not. As a result, when I booked my children's first appointments, they kept getting canceled, often the day before or day of the appointment. When I called into customer service, they told me that my children needed to use their own email account. Absolutely nothing in the UI experience to indicate that. When you get a cancellation, the UI offers no notification or additional info on steps you need to take. So, you may be left not knowing what to do. I'm a tech worker in Silicon Valley and I find the log in and user experience baffling. I'll be moving my children to a different provider - just trying to book and appointment and keep it shouldn't be so much work.

Horrible experience. They are extremely stressful to deal with for an organization centered around mental health. Providers were great, but the platform is awful. They don't bill you at any specific frequency, and if they try to charge and it doesn't go through, they remove your card from the database, so you have to go re-add it. Stupidest thing I ever heard. Then, you get threatening emails from their billing department. God forbid you try to communicate with them, because no one seems to read the actual email and just responds based on keywords in the email like bad AI chatbots. I had an appointment scheduled for 6 weeks out, and they canceled it due to an unpaid balance. Understandable, I guess, but then the email they sent me said I was being charged a $150 appointment cancelation fee. My therapist left Rula already (for headway, so I signed up there) and I messaged my psych to ask if they are available on another platform as well. I refuse to do any further business with Rula.

Rula is a usefule scheduling tool

Really easy to schedule and find a therapist. But the therapist I found was the right fit I’ve been looking for. Excited to continue this journey but had a great intake and felt heard and hopeful for the future.

I was a bit hesitant to use a telehealth appointment . All of my previous therapy experiences had been in person. By the end of my session I was very grateful for the convenience of having a session over zoom. The doctor listened to my concerns and everything I was dealing with at the time. I felt very comfortable speaking with them regarding the anxiety and depression I was currently experiencing. Just having someone to vent and explain my frustration and concerns to was such a relief. I look forward to our next meeting and working with them to address some of the issues I have been experiencing.

Dr. Cory Bush has been excellent in the short time of me working with him. He’s gotten straight to the root of some issues that have affected my communication with my wife and others. Highly recommend Rula services.
