My hair is definitely in better condition but I’m in my 3rd month & it definitely does not make my hair feel thicker, so I’m sceptical about the claims from others stating this. My hair actually feels thinner. I’ve not noticed new hair growth & think shedding is the same, but the good thing is I don’t seem to have to wash it as much. I have ordered another shampoo & conditioner in the hope that the other claims are true & the fact the condition is better but feel giving it more than 3 stars when not all claims seem true would be wrong at this time. It’s what goes in your body from the inside that helps with hair growth, I don’t believe any shampoo can make it grow.

I bought cucumber shampoo and conditioner I wash my hair about 3 times a week and I noticed that my scalp was very itchy and developed large dry patches. I contacted Routine Wellness and was advised to use less product and use my own conditioner until my scalp adjusted for a few more weeks, which I agreed to do. So 3 weeks later I contacted Routine again advising my scalp was still the same, they apologised and said my feedback was important. No mention of money back. So I emailed asking for refund, to which they replied: Unfortunately, we're only able to provide returns or exchanges for 30 days after a product was received. Since your package was received by you more than 30 days ago, we're not able to offer a refund or exchange any longer. I'm so sorry about that! So I replied: So at your suggestion, you ask customers to try product for longer, therefore longer than the 30 days! Disgraceful! Their response: I'm so sorry if you're feeing that way. Routine’s effectiveness can vary widely per person, especially based on diet, health, and even medication. While it is effective for some within 30 days, some require 6-9 months. The reality is that as a business, we have to set some parameters. I hope you understand. What a waste of my money!

I feel I need to write a review as I just had my fifth compliment on my hair today and I can honestly say I won’t look further for another hair routine as my hair feels and looks amazing I’m 57 please try this

When I first started using this product, I had no complaints…then I started to notice that there was more and more hair in my brush all the time. One day, I noticed when I put my hair in the ponytail, it felt way thinner. That’s when I really started to notice The damage this product was doing. I went online to try to find new reviews, And there were a ton of new reviews from people saying that it was making their hair fall out/break too. Now all those reviews are missing… Apparently they were made on a different routine account. User beware

I was sceptical when I first used this shampoo. You have to be patient and keep using it but it is very good and my hair has definitely improved since using it and when I used to wash my hair before it was flyaway and flat. Definitely better for using over a longer period

I had high hopes for Routine Wellness after trying their bergamot shampoo and conditioner, which worked great. But their cucumber-scented variant triggered immediate scalp irritation and dandruff—something I’ve never experienced before. I reached out to customer service, not for a refund, just to request a simple exchange. They acknowledged the issue and responded with empathy, but ultimately refused to offer any resolution because my order was outside their rigid 30-day window. Their main suggestion? That I use dandruff shampoo to fix a problem their product caused. Frankly, that feels dismissive and inappropriate. If a brand markets itself around wellness, it should stand behind its products—especially when they lead to adverse reactions. Empty slogans like “We’re here to help” don’t hold weight when they’re unwilling to take meaningful action.

Absolutely atrocious shampoo. Very bad smell (nothing like the fragrance it claimed). Took forever to arrive and I wished it hadn’t. Any claim that this shampoo is good for your hair is nonsense. I felt I would have received the same result if I had washed my hair in methylated spirits. Lifeless straw-like and incredibly harsh. My hair fell out in clumps following use. I couldn’t use it for the recommended time because I would have gone bald. It was an extremely poor decision in my part to buy this!
