Removing small lantern is a problem!
The product itself was not the problem, the delivery was not the problem. The problem was the packaging! The small lantern was put inside the big lantern and was surrounded by styrofoam so the only way to get it out was to remove 12 very tiny screws and remove the lid from the big lantern! Then I had to put those very tiny screws back!! That in itself was so much trouble that had I known, I would have continued to look elsewhere for lanterns. After reading your response I need to let you know that I ordered2 sets of lanterns. The first set I did try to remove the lantern but the styrofoam prevented it from coming out so I tried to remove the styrofoam and that would not come out! I had to use my fingers to break the styrofoam apart to get it out so I could remove the smaller lantern and it was a mess big time! That’s why when I opened the second d box I removed the screws. There is no way those pieces of styrofoam were put inside with the lid on.

We would like to clarify that removing the 12 screws and taking the lid off the larger lantern was not necessary. The smaller lantern was secured inside the larger one with protective Styrofoam. All that was needed was to remove the Styrofoam surrounding the smaller lantern, and it could then be lifted out without disassembling anything.
Nesting smaller lanterns inside larger ones is a common packaging method used to protect merchandise during shipping while reducing unnecessary packaging and shipping expenses.
Shipping these lanterns in two separate, oversized boxes would significantly increase shipping costs, which would ultimately be passed along to our customers.
Our goal is to provide beautiful, quality merchandise at reasonable prices while ensuring orders arrive safely and undamaged. The fact that both lanterns arrived in perfect condition demonstrates that the protective packaging served its intended purpose.
We are sorry you went through the unnecessary trouble of removing and reinstalling the screws, as that was never required to unpack your lanterns.

I made two orders from them and after…
I made two orders from them and after over a week and no shipping I emailed. I was told it would be longer. I put a comment on Facebook saying shipping was slow and then almost immediately got emails saying my orders were canceled and I could purchase elsewhere.

We believe it is important to provide the full facts surrounding this review.
Your order was only 5 business days into our clearly advertised 8–10 business day processing timeframe when you began repeatedly accusing our business of being scammers. This timeframe is clearly displayed on every product page, posted twice during checkout, and included in your order confirmation email.
What you have failed to mention in your review is that you sent our business more than 20 emails in less than 30 minutes, many containing threatening and harassing statements. You also stated that you had nothing better to do with your time and intended to make it your life's mission to ruin our business.
This behavior is completely unacceptable. There is a significant difference between a customer expressing dissatisfaction and someone repeatedly threatening and harassing a business because an order has not shipped before its advertised processing deadline.
Your order was canceled because of your repeated threatening communications, accusations, and refusal to respect our clearly disclosed processing timeframe. Your order was not late, and our business did not scam you.
We have every right to protect our employees, our company, and our customers from abusive behavior. We welcome honest reviews and constructive feedback, but we will not tolerate harassment, intimidation, or threats.
As a small, family-owned, veteran-owned business, we work extremely hard to fulfill hundreds of orders daily, and our processing times are clearly communicated before customers purchase.
We have retained documentation of your communications, including the volume, frequency, and content of your threatening emails. Any continued threats or harassment will be documented and addressed through the appropriate channels.
We stand firmly behind our decision to cancel your order and refuse further service.
