We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the shipping time. However, we would like to clarify that your order was shipped within our clearly posted 8–10 business day processing timeframe. Due to the large volume of holiday orders we receive, this timeframe is displayed on every product page, twice during checkout, and again in the order confirmation email. We provide this information before and after purchase so customers know exactly what to expect. While we understand that everyone is eager to receive their orders, we do expect customers to review the shipping information provided before placing an order. We do not send daily shipping updates, but we do send tracking information as soon as an order ships, which was also done for your order. Once UPS received your package, it took an additional five days for delivery. Unfortunately, carrier transit times are beyond our control. We work very hard to process and ship hundreds of orders while honoring the timeframes we communicate. We feel a 2-star review based on a shipping timeframe that was clearly disclosed and met does not accurately reflect the service we provided. If our posted shipping timeframe did not meet your needs, we certainly understand, but we encourage customers to consider that information before completing their purchases. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that our Doxie Cast Iron Door Stop did not meet your expectations. The Doxie weighs approximately 4 pounds and features a wedge design specifically intended to slide underneath the door to help hold it open. This is a typical weight and design for a decorative cast iron door stop. It sounds as though your door may be heavier than average or requires additional resistance to stay open. Unfortunately, not every door stop will work with every door, especially heavier doors or those with strong self-closing mechanisms. While we understand your disappointment, the Doxie is designed to function as both a decorative accent and a practical door stop for standard interior doors. We appreciate your purchase and are sorry it wasn't the right fit for your particular door.

Your order was placed only 3 days prior to contacting us, during a holiday weekend, and our posted shipping timeframe is clearly stated as 8–10 business days on our website, checkout page, and order confirmation email. Your message demanded immediate shipment and threatened to cancel payment if the order was not shipped right away. Due to the payment threat, we made the decision to cancel and refund the order rather than continue processing it. We encourage customers to review the posted shipping policies before placing an order, especially during holiday periods. Orders are processed in the order received, and we are unable to bypass other customers or guarantee immediate shipment for non-expedited orders.
