What I ordered is not what I got. Do I like the item I received? Yes, it’s a 10/10 for what it is. It’s just not at all like the advertised picture. Was shipping slow? Yes, absolutely extremely slow without updates. Was customer service responsive when I inquired as to my ship date? Yes, but with rude words ie if you don’t want to wait you can cancel!

I ordered a shelf in February 2026. I still have not received it. It is now June of 2026. I called them numerous times. Left messages,No RESPONSE!. Their customer service is an answering machine. I am now out $54.00!! If you want to give River Chic money order an item! You will never see your merchandise but River Chic will keep your money!!!! Word to the wise NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH RIVER CHIC!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, this review is not accurate. The wall shelf you ordered was a pre-order item, and as discussed with you by phone, your payment had been declined. We explained that we are unable to ship orders that have not been successfully paid for. Once you realized the payment had not been processed, you promptly completed the payment, and we immediately shipped your order. UPS tracking number 1Z923R750395605263 confirms that your wall shelf was delivered successfully. We understand delays can be frustrating; however, in this case, the shipment delay was due to the order remaining unpaid until the payment issue was resolved.

I wish I would have read reviews before placing my order. Now I understand that poor customer service and communication is standard with this company, and won't be doing any business with them ever again. I will hope I get my refund as they stated. If not in a reasonable amount of time, I'll report them to Visa as a fraudulent transaction.

Your order was placed only 3 days prior to contacting us, during a holiday weekend, and our posted shipping timeframe is clearly stated as 8–10 business days on our website, checkout page, and order confirmation email. Your message demanded immediate shipment and threatened to cancel payment if the order was not shipped right away. Due to the payment threat, we made the decision to cancel and refund the order rather than continue processing it. We encourage customers to review the posted shipping policies before placing an order, especially during holiday periods. Orders are processed in the order received, and we are unable to bypass other customers or guarantee immediate shipment for non-expedited orders.
