Right Stuf AnimeReviews of rightstufanime.com

I have been using Rightstuf for the better part of 15 years for all my Anime needs. Customer Service has always been friendly and resolved issues quickly. I recommend them to anyone who listens to me and buys Anime.

I was always intimidated by collecting my favorite manga/anime, because of how difficult it was to find certain editions. Not to mention how expensive some anime related items can be. But Right Stuf made the whole concept of building my dream anime collection a real possibility. No more surfing the web just to find scalpers overcharging, because an item sold out on Amazon or Best Buy. And no more paying an arm and a leg for a shipment directly from Japan. Right Stuff has kept everything I want in stock, and at prices that put other distributors to shame. On top of that they offer numerous sales in every genre, and monthly payment options on big items, even for nonmembers. Finally, 2020 has been a ridiculous year, I for one did way more online shopping. Of all the distributors that I used this year, the only one that never lost my package or canceled my orders was Right Stuf. RS is based here in the USA, and they were very upfront about possible delays this year. But even during the worst shipping weeks of the pandemic, and on black friday when other stores failed, my RS orders would always come through. I absolutely recommend Right Stuf Anime. I can't promise you an experience that has been as rewarding as mine, but if you're on the fence. The internet is full of scammers who doesn't care if they waste your hard earned time and money. Right Stuf is a safe, reliable, and most importantly consumer friendly business, which really makes all the difference these days. TL;DR Right Stuf has made collecting my favorite anime/manga a safe and reliable, but more importantly a financially sane possibility even during 2020.

They are one of if not the best anime and manga sellers that I have ever bought from.

Rightstuf has always had the best packaging from any retailer I have ordered from. Anime is expensive and I would rather ensure that my package is delivered to me in the best condition possible than chance playing roulette with other retailers. My only gripe would be that I wish they were a bit more informative when an order would be partial shipped and I feel the value of their GotAnime discount has gone down over the years. I would prefer a membership that was maybe a little more expensive and got me a lower free shipping threshold or monthly coupons or something since the discount does not stack with the larger sales of the year.

Right Stuf Anime is my preferred site to make bulk orders of manga at the best prices. I am able to consistently take their prices and compare them to Amazon, Books a Million, etc., and they come out on top nearly every time. I recently purchased their membership for a year too, and have already made the money back for that and saved more money. The $75 shipping minimum hasn’t been an issue for me since I tend to order many volumes at a time, but if I do want to pre-order new releases of single volumes I do tend to purchase elsewhere because of this minimum. They also package their shipments much more carefully than all other online retailers. While some shipments have been slower due to COVID, this is the case with all retailers right now and I don’t think that this could be poorly reflected onto Right Stuf. Overall I really have enjoyed my experiences with Right Stuf and they are passionate about what they sell. Definitely plan on purchasing more from them soon!

As a collectionist, rightstuf has the best packaging to protect the stuff you buy during shipment bar none. Their prices are always super competitive, and the yearly sub is totally worth it if you buy a few series a year for the extra discount. I always regretted buying from amazon or best buy due to damaged dvd box corners or delayed/lost shipments, so Im glad to have an alternative that cares about the items they ship not being damaged

Good stuff, good prices. I miss the catalogs but thats me being old

This is a legitimate retailer, and one of the main retailers that companies like aniplex will link you to for purchasing. I like their packaging and often reuse it to ship my own stuff. However, I would never rely on them for a present that you want to arrive on time, especially if you’re shopping their winter sales. I’m sure they get heavy order volumes during the sales and items will go in and out of stock, so your order may be held until every item is available to ship. They say themselves (or they used to, I don’t know if they still do) Upgrading shipping does not necessarily mean that you’ll get your item faster. They might process it faster, but regular shipping may process just as fast, so I’ve never upgraded shipping. I still prefer them over other retailers, because of the packaging and item condition, but sentaifilmworks is similarly packaged, so if you’re shopping sentai titles, I would check both sites for the lowest prices.
