I ordered three 4-gang “brass” switch banks from Residence Supply. The cost was over $1K. As soon as I opened the package I knew something was off. The switches do not look like brass but instead a combination of anodized aluminum and plastic. We are using many real brass finishes, and you could instantly see this was a poor simulation with a very cheap plasticky feel. Since this is an online only company advertises “30 day returns” I thought ok no big deal I’ll send them back. When I tried, they put you through a long and pointless process of sending photos of each and every thing ordered. And then several days passed with no communication, after which they informed me there is a 50% restocking fee!!! Insane. This is such a scammy company BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Jab was super helpful when helping me with my trade order! Really easy to work with, and shipping was really fast for the products I ordered, given that they were available to ship right away. I would recommend to just check on shipping times if there is a timeline to stick to for your project. Iwill continue to keep using them for future projects!

I have not even received my product yet but I’m so happy with the service and everyone at residence supply assisting me with my order. I’m an interior designer and sometimes we are under a lot of pressure to make things happen for our clients almost over night. Anyways, I purchased some light switches/plates and needed them within a certain time. Needless to say, I will be receiving them before my clients starts filming. Can’t wait to show you the finished product. Thanks so much! 😊

Incredible quality materials

Amazing customer service. I first filled out the contact form to get help because I couldn't seem to find a way to order what I needed. Jab responded quickly, and had simply created a complete invoice for everything I needed. I then asked if I could apply a discount, and Jab applied it and got back to me in minutes. In the whole renovation process you get used to dealing with challenges, but Jab's help made this one part of it a joy!

Great xare and customer service

I purchased a light switch from Residence Supply and had it professionally installed. The unit was defective right out of the box — the light would only flicker on briefly unless the switch was left halfway through its motion. Obviously not safe or usable. When I reached out, instead of standing behind their product, they pulled the warranty card and started demanding photos, videos, packaging, and waybill numbers — even after I explained the switch had to be uninstalled because it didn’t work. They already had the order number, acknowledged the order number, and knew exactly which product this was, so there was no issue confirming the purchase. I wasn’t asking for a refund, just a simple replacement for a defective unit. At this price point, I would never have this problem with Home Depot or Lowe’s. They stand behind what they sell. Residence Supply, unfortunately, does not. Update: Their response to my complaint makes it even clearer — this company simply doesn’t stand behind their products. Hiding behind a 14-day policy when they shipped a defective unit is unacceptable. Projects don’t always get installed the day they arrive, and any reputable company would make it right. Their own words prove the point: Residence Supply clearly doesn’t care once they’ve made the sale.
