I have been a customer of Republic Services for many years with no problems. A few months ago, my quarterly charge went from $90 to $121 (give or take). That was just too much! I paid it anyway. Then in September I got a bill for $113 or so. A little less, but still way too much. I called to cancel and was told I would get 2 months refunded. I never got a refund, so I called today and was told that I had a $10.79 credit. I paid $113 for one month of service (September) and got $10.79 back. Ridiculous!

Republic is by far the worst company I have ever used. So unreliable that I canceled service, was told the container would be picked up on a set date. Date came & went by several weeks. Today a truck showed up & the driver trespassed on my property to retrieve the container. No notice & no courtesy knock on the door. Unbelievable!

This company is terrible and has no care for customers and is definitely not reliable as stated in their website. If you can avoid this company, do it!! We were scheduled delivery of dumpster on Friday and came Monday. Filled dumpster and requested pick up dump on Tuesday for Wednesday. They never came. I called Thursday for missed dump. They didn’t come. Called Friday they said they were coming and didn’t. My entire project is behind costing money because they are not able to be counted on when they say they will pick up. I’m sure they count on my money on time for payment but do not care about fulfilling their “reliable” service. I’m contacting BBB.

Our company had the absolute worst experience ever. My manager Misha tried multiple time to work with Eileen and her boss Ranel Tanis to have the trash picked up but to no avail. Both of them lied to us and made multiple FALSE promises they could not keep. They basically refused to pick up our trash behind our store, it's been four months of dealing with these clowns but never once did we get SERVICED. Eileen is a joke and so is her boss. We are sick and tired of their crap so we decided to post an online complaints after NUMEROUS FAILED ATTEMPTS to resolve our bad experience with this company. We hope the executive level supervisors get involved and fire these people who absolutely refuse to do their jobs.

Worse trash pickup service ever. Never picked up on scheduled day. Canceled service and they can’t even pick cans up when they said. Prices go up every billing cycle. Then want to charge to pickup cans. And they charge you to bring you a can then want to charge you again for picking it up. Sounds fishy to me. I won’t pay again for them picking up my can after paying for them already when they bought me a can. Always say they are short on drivers. Why keep taking more if you can’t handle the job. They charge you even when they miss weeks from getting your trash. But they don’t mind taking your money regardless if they pickup or not

I was forced by my city to switch from Rumpke to Republic. Horrible experience. Service was scheduled to start this week, 10/04/2022. I received a recycle container but no trash container. Still don't have one! I called Republic, girl said can't help but I will have someone call you. Waited all day never got a call. What a scam, I call it customer no service! I have no trash container, nor do my neibors, no place to put trash as Rumpke picked up old trash container. I hate Republic, they lie and everything. I should not have to fight for a trash container, the city of Tipp City Ohio is no help, although they include trash pickup on my monthly utility bill. Don't select Republic as your refuse removal company, they lie and are no good.

This company stole hundreds of trash cans from our community when the city cancelled the contract with them. They took every can they saw without any list to reference of who was renting. Many owned when they purchased from a prior company years ago. They refuse to return them or pay us back.

I have two accounts with Republic Services and the St. Louis account has added $100 and more per billing cycle for a Total Fuel/Environmental Recovery Fee whereas my other location has not. Both use the same diesel fuel, both use the same trucks, both locations has the same number of pick ups. When I called, I received mumbo jumbo as a response, to the point it was comical. There are other companies that haul trash, Republic Services acts like it is the only company in town. I will take my business elsewhere since I can no longer trust their billing practices. Too bad that I like the person who picks up my trash, but I cannot tolerate deceptive billing.
