My complaint about Republic Services is more about their business practices than service. Republic services on the last bull Doubled their prices without any notice. They also have a very high Environmental service fee. There have been many class action suits against the company for illegal fees. My bill included a late fee, even though I cancelled service and they require a pre-pay for all services. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and write as many reviews as I can to help avoid the same issues I have seen with my time with them. I will say that the service side of this company is just as good as other companies, but not worth the hassle of paying 200% more than others and extraordinary fees. BBB complaints filed against them with similar issues that can be verified.

I can honestly say that I never had any issues with my pick up, always on time and never missed a pick up and would come back out to pick up when I forgot to put my can out. I just received my bill and, shame on me for not paying attention to what I was being charged, because I was on autopay, but my bill for 3 months was $242.00. I called another 5 star reviewed company and will be saving $111/quarterly. This is the clincher that has me annoyed, a $100 fee to pick up the cans. Absolutely crazy!!

why do they pick up your can and drag it a bit to put it down? never experienced this and have had many garbage companies over the years. sometimes our neighbors cans are in front of our house. WTH??????

All promises, no action. Lots of “excellerated” action promises; note to supervisor promises; pick up by tomorrow at 5 promises. Talk is cheap! And so is this company.

This company is the worst. We stuck with them for several years, even though they made outrageous price raises each year after going through a competitive bid process. They repeatedly missed pick ups. When we cancelled, they failed to pick up their containers. Now they are calling for a pick up fee to retrieve their containers. Their customer service people are rude and do not follow through.

This company lies and cheats to get your money. I had an agreement for 2 years with the first to be 75.71 every 3 months. The second year was to be 78.84 every 3 months. They then raised my price to 78.84 on the last quarter of the first year and raised my rate to 84 dollars for the second year. This company does not honor it's agreements. When they dropped of my trash can at the very beginning they gave me one with a 7 inch crack in the lid which I am sure now they will try to blame me for. They did not have any Recycle cans to give at the time. How Does A Trash/Recycle Company Run Out Of Cans??? They charged me 40 dollars to deliver my cans and I'll bet they are going to charge me to remove them as well when my agreement runs out next February. I will put them in my pick up and take them to their Yuma facility. Needless to say I will not be re-upping my account come next February. If you have another choice for your waste disposal TAKE IT !!

Worst Company ever. They called me one to two times a month to say they would not pick up garbage because their trucks broke down. Sometimes they called me four times in one day to say they would not be there. They are the only company that has done that to me and the most expensive. When I cancelled their literal "garbage service" they had the guts to charge me for picking up their cans. Do not recommend. With love from Rancho Sahuarita AZ

Monopoly means they don’t care. Haven’t had pickup in 3 weeks and their answer is to make it right nor giving credit or compensation. They are scheduling an additional pickup the day before our regular pickup. They were also unable to explain why they haven’t been in 3 weeks. It makes no sense. These people are insane.
