Terrible company with awful customer service and they constantly miss trash pick-ups.

Today was my fourth attempt at cancelling services. I initially called a month ago and was told that the account was cancelled and our dumpster would be collected. Today we received a statement with a late fee for not paying for last month. I called them again today and am I'm told over and over again that it needs to go through the Sales team and I'll receive a call back in 48 hours. The calls never come and I'm now being charged a late fee for the previous month even though services were to be cancelled. Wildly outrageous how difficult it is to cancel with them.

Total scam, worst company I have ever done business with. They have a corrupt monopoly over the trash service and take full advantage of that. It's too bad.

This company just took a cart that I purchased from my previous trash company and threw it away in their trash truck. They told me that they bought out the previous company and it was their property, although I had purchased it from previous company. They refuse to prove I purchased it and took it from us, threw it away in their trash truck, and will not replace my property. They said it is normal for them to pick up and throw away old trash cans that their driver sees. I have never seen this happen, they would typically send a truck out to pick up the carts, not dump them in a trash truck. The "little" guy getting bashed by a multi million dollar company, yet again!

Having lived in multiple states with 40 years of garbage collection, I’ve never had poorer service. Republic is the worst. Every few months they don’t pick up my trash. You call and are promised you’re on the schedule for the next day. No pick up. You call next day and are promised again. No pick up. You call and are told a supervisor will call you. No call. You call and wait to speak to supervisor. You’re promised next day service. Your garbage is piling in the garage. No pick up. By then it’s the next week’s pick up. They tell you to put the extra trash next to the can. They empty can and leave extra trash accumulated because they skipped a week. They don’t reimburse you or make up for it. Never an apology. Absolute useless company. If you have a choice, which I do not, don’t use them.

This company is DIRTY. First, they were charging each individual house on our street DIFFERENT PRICING for the same services. Everyone got wise to it after a while and they lowered their prices to competition. THEN our Entire street cancelled for service. They did not give us notice. Full trash bins are still lined up on our street. Finally after tons of complaints, they said "Our driver can't back up on your street. Therefor we are deeming your street unsafe." Huh? What? The street did not move. NOTHING has changed. Just DID NOT SHOW UP. What do we do with your containers? SANITATION issue. POOR drivers. Awful behavior. NO warning. NO communication. Just never returned again to our street. My neighbors are equally upset. Unreal. Go with Waste Management. They picked up our street and they have so far been very professional!

Made a payment for services on a Wensday. They assured me Wensday I would get a pick up on Thursday. Called Twice on Thursday,we will be there is what I was told. Friday trash still at the curb. Called they said two different times you are on the schedule. Saturday comes still have trash at the curb. I call them to get the money put back in my account. As I was unwilling to pay someone for trash pick up and then I have to take it to the local land fill myself. They say no way they are giving my money back an it wasn't their fault that their employees lied to me about this. Well folks it's that type of crooked dealing that makes the company multi billions. Honest good service you won't fined in this company.

A dumpster was placed on my property without my permission. It has torn up my grass, caused my tree limbs to break (when serviced), amoung other property damages. I have been calling for over a month asking for the dumpster to be removed and it has yet to be done. My local Republic Services does not answer phones or return my calls including the supervisor. I have called the main numbers and each time they tell me it will be moved. It has yet to be moved off of my property. As damage to my property continues to happen. If unresolved soon I will have no choice, but to sue the company for failure to remove the dumpster and place it on the correct address of their client, the damages to my property and my attorney fees. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of action taken to correct this problem and that this dumpster has been dropped off, continually serviced, and left to remain and cause damage to my property.
