Terrible customer service! We constantly had missed pick ups but yet were charged. We were charged an "environmental fee" of $168.98 for 2 96 gallon containers picked up once per week (if we were lucky), then add it the "administration Fee" of $5.95 and those 2 little trash containers equaled a $551.65 per month trash bill?! Called to inquire and was lied to being told that all trash services charge that much of an environmental fee, that is was mandated by the state! So I was fed up, called to cancel services. It literally took 5 phone calls from me demanding someone return my call and 16 days for them to finally respond. Then an additional week for the "emails" I had to forward around and decline their new package, which btw had a much lower environmental fee! While waiting for them to pull their heads from the sand I switched services. They never showed up to pick up the containers for 38 days, then had the nerve to bill me! This place is horrible!!!!

Horrible company when I started with them. They quoted me a price per month after I received my first invoice. It was $80 higher. Never said anything about a gas surcharge.

It is seldom that I will leave extra bags on Bulk day buy I needed to today. Left everything next to my bulk container, and NO pick-up of extra bags - they just left them there. Incompetents along with charging more. TERRIBLE.

So we live just off Kings Rd in Nampa, Id - i had a wheely bin that got accidentally damaged, i called Republic Services call center, spoke to a really helpfull person. That said they would take care of it - a very courteous employee just droped off my brand new trash can, when they said they would - we have been living here 14 years and this is the first time that i have ever called them. Very happy

Due to Republic's outrageous increase in cost, I sent a letter by certified mail and by regular mail to cancel my service to their office at Sacramento, CA on Elder Creek Road. The tracking number shows that it was received/signed for on May 25, 2023. Their phone number is "down due to technical difficulties" and there is no email address online for me to confirm directly with them that they have the account scheduled to be canceled. I don't feel that I can trust them to not try to further jerk me around and will try to get out of canceling the account

Moved into a new house on 3/29 and set up the service plus paid the $50 deposit online with Republic prior to moving in and the can was delivered a week before moving in. I got the invoice on 3/29 for the first quarters service and to pay for the trash bin being delivered, of which I paid in full the very next day on 3/30. We had one regular pick up the week we moved in but this past week (4/6) nothing, the can was still sitting at the end of our driveway full of trash by the end of the day. I filed a "missed pick up" the next morning (4/7) for our house and I was then informed this same day that service has apparently been cancelled for our neighborhood as of 3/31 and they "don't know how we weren't informed about it" until now but that we would have to find a new trash pick service. You cannot tell me or convince me that they didn't already know when I paid the invoice on 3/30 that service for my address/neighborhood was going to be cancelled the very next day, but they were more than happy to take my $142.82 I paid to set up service.

Republic bought out my local waste mgmt comapny and it has been a total disaster. They overbill consistently and harass their customers with threatening calls about cutting off service, even when they have been paid in full. I have been calling billing every month - showing them screen shots of my bank paying them in full via Zelle app, and they claim the $$$ never arrived, despite bank verification. in my neighborhood we are looking for another provider so we can fire this incompetent hostile company.

Republic Services has an amazing team of professional, probably one of the best, very friendly, prompt, very helpful, just truly awesome people and service. I have a little strip mall in Brooksville and stuck with other company for 3 years, couldn’t wait for the contract to expired. I have spoken to one of the reps. at Republic Services several years before and if I knew then what I know now, I would have just paid the fine to get out of the other company and sign up with Republic services much sooner. Should anyone have to pay a fine to break the contract, it’s truly worth it to go with this great company, which is very responsive, friendly and helpful. Warren has an amazing memory, he remembers spoken to me many years prior and still taking a great care of any questions, concerned I had and solve issues immediately, just amazing. I spoke to a super friendly, enthusiastic and eager to help, name Samara Alexander. She was so patience, explained so many questions I had and best yet, followed up. At the end of several calls, I was as impressed with this company as I compared them to any excellent customer services of any luxury hotels. Then, on top of all these, I got a call from Yvonne (apologize for the spelling) introduced herself (super friendly) You all have earned a very loyal customer, and should anyone have doubt having to pay others to get out of any contracts, it is “worth it” to just pay and switch to Republic Services; you will not regret. The other big company wills un-reasonable price gouging, missing pickup and no caring customer services.
