First we get a dumpster ordered and the day comes for it to be delivered not one phone call nor email stating my neighborhood was unsafe for the driver because he’s some idiot hillbilly backwater douche and can’t drive worth a crap anyways. And actually took us three days because I just thought that they were behind on delivering. And when I called, they tell me that it was Deemed unsafe and that they could not even issue me a regular trash bin for my residence and then they asked if there was anything else they could do when I said no there isn’t since you guys can’t deliver a dumpster nor a trash bin. And a month later, I get a bill for almost $400 for them delivering my dumpster never happened

💥Quick lesson for y'all....NOT bring BBB Accredited spesks volumes! I was curious if Republic was even going to get here, so at 3:55 I called to be told that the Routes had been switched around, but they should still be here by 5pm. OK, great, I didn't know that they did that. No yelling, swearing, or raised blood pressure. Done. About 15 minutes later here comes the truck, so guess I should've waited longer. So the driver pulls up, only half dumps my container, then drops it about 3-4 feet from ground, so it falls over, as shown in pics. Called Republic right away, and was told that they would reschedule, AFTER I said that the truck is 1-2 blocks away, still in our Community, and I know they have radios so Dispatch can reach them, but NOPE, have to reschedule, but no clue when it'll be, I wasn't told. The person on phone spoke to me like I was in Kindergarten. Another great Customer Service story to remember throughout Negotiations!

I am beyond upset with RS. We were with them for years until the rates became too expensive. I would call and they would lower them. Next quarterly statement they would be back up again. Call again, back down. Wash rinse repeat. So, I cancelled. They want to charge $52 to pick up their own can from the end of my driveway! Called customer service and was basically treated as if I did not matter. Extremely rude. Even after years of paying them they would not remove the pickup fee. RS does not care about customers or customer service. NEVER use them.

Do not use Republic Services they charge exorbitant fees. They will not let you out of your contract even if the person that signed the contract is deceased and the company dissolved. They will not come pick up the dumpster. They claim the exorbitant fees are due to their annual increases. This means the longer you are with them the more you pay.

Republic in Sacramento, CA doesn’t care about the needs of its customers. We have rubbish pickup 3 times per year. They say it’s “free”, but we pay for it. It ain’t cheap. National holidays = people visiting = more cars on the street. So why, if they respect the lives of their customers, would Republic schedule rubbish pickup on MEMORIAL DAY-one of the most popular holidays of the year for visitors and more cars on the street? Where are we supposed to put our rubbish, when the street will be lined with cars? This is the second time they’ve pulled this crap this year. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, REPUBLIC, and consider your customers’ needs when you schedule. I can understand that regular trash needs to be picked on a NATIONAL HOLIDAY. Couldn’t you give your customers a break for one day?

If you want to be sexually harassed come work for republic. You get told from another employee that he knows what he's doing all night to your wife. The company blew that off. Once you have left the yard you can wear anything you want. Tank tops or mid thigh shorts are some of the things that are being worn. The trucks are held up with paperclips. I have pictures to prove it. Why should a company have cameras on you and then they say you can't take pictures of them?

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 63 years. I called to stop service in January, 2024 and they continued to bill me for February and March. I finally got through to them on the phone after 45 minutes of hold time and was told there was nothing they could do about my bill as there was no record of me calling to stop service. They wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor although I asked. I've written several emails and made phone calls to no avail. They just tell me to pay my bill. Stay away from this company at all costs. They do not deserve to have any customers!

Ex trash truck driver, used to work for the company they bought out in Colorado. Gallegos was cheap on paying the employees but made customers number one. Not a single employee I have seenor talked to working for republic would have kept there job due to their ineptitude. The fact that the company keeps them shows the horrible leadership of the management. Someone needs to explain to them they are supposed to pick it up, not be trash.
