We requested a mattress pick up a 4 days ago. Now we are on 3 days of phone tag with this company just to get a mattress picked up. All their reps give different information. Different pick-up times, different closing times. THEN, if they don't pick up, I am responsible to keep calling to re-schedule!! We have asked for a manager/supervisor to call us BUT THEY HAVEN'T. This company should remove the word SERVICES from their title. Its apparent they have absolutely ZERO accountability for their drivers as they never know where they are or what work has been done. IMMENSLY FRUSTRATING and I cannot believe we HAD TO PAY FOR THIS SERVICE ahead of time. They said today will be the day for pickup, one rep in the morning said by 9pm, and when i called at 3pm i was told by 6pm. Ridiculous as customer service closes at 5pm. I Would Not Recommend This Company for this type of service. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME !

They missed cannon regular pick up day so I was lied to on numerous days that they would be here guaranteed!! Nope lied to numerous times!!!!

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent incident involving my Ford F250 and a Republic Services truck. Last week, my vehicle was parked outside my business building, two spots away from the Republic Trash Can, around 7 am. To my dismay, when I returned later that morning to retrieve some items from my truck, I discovered that the entire front bumper had been severely damaged, with bright blue and red streaks across the entire surface. Given that my vehicle was the only one in the parking lot at the time of the accident, it is evident that the damage was caused by a Republic Services truck. The tire marks leading up to my truck further support this conclusion. Despite filing a claim with Republic Services, I was informed that without video evidence, they are unable to take any action to address the damage. I find this response unacceptable and lacking in accountability. The lack of cooperation and communication from Republic Services in resolving this matter is deeply disappointing. As a result of their negligence and refusal to acknowledge their responsibility, I have no choice but to cancel my account with Republic Services and seek alternative trash disposal services. I urge Republic Services to reconsider their stance on this issue and take responsibility for the damage caused by their truck. I expect a prompt resolution and compensation for the repairs needed to restore my vehicle to its original condition. Your immediate attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. If I could give 0 starts I would. It has been almost 2 months since my garbage was picked up on time. Some weeks they just never come that week so it is more like every other week. We call in regularly and are told that the garbage will be picked up tomorrow, but tomorrow often comes and goes and our garbage is still there. Not only is the service horrible, but it is more expensive than other local companies.

Seriously want to charge $72 to pick up THEIR trash bin. And charged $50 to bring it to us. Say what!? The other two companies I've called do NOT have such charges. Avoid Republic Services!

This is the MOST crooked and deceitful Company we have ever encountered! DO NOT SIGN the contract when you start service! The representative provided a quote for $56/month (2018) and had us sign the contract via “docusign”. However, they NEVER provided a copy of the contract. Since 2018 when we received the quote for $56, the same pick-up is now $200/month! In 2022, we attempted to cancel trash pick-up. The representative from Republic advised we were required to give them 60 day notice prior to cancellation (per contract). We requested the contract on 3 separate occasions and they would NOT send it. In 2023, we called to cancel (60 days prior to cancellation) and we were told it was 90 days, not 60 days! Again we asked for a copy of this contract since we signed nothing except when we started the service. The representative advised that the contract automatically renews. We requested a copy of the contract again, multiple times and they would not send. Just two weeks ago, still haven’t received a copy of the “contract”, called to cancel. To our surprise, they said “ok”, went through our account and provided a confirmation number for our cancellation. Advised can would be picked up by Thursday of the current week. We called another company, received a quote for $72/month, new can to arrive Thursday! However, today Republic calls us to advise that we must wait until October for removal of their can and we must continue to pay $200/month for their service. I called back, spoke to another account manager, explained the scenario. The gentleman was professional as I explained the situation and advised that we had never received a contract despite asking for it for years. He forwarded it to us!!! I advised this gentleman that we called, cancelled, received confirmation and signed with another company. He attempted to provide a solution but on the end, he just “ghosted” us and did not call us back as he indicated he would. Reading the contract and terms is laughable! The cancellation is 60 DAYS! The representative we spoke to in 2023 lied and advised the cancellation period was 90 days! The contract also indicates that to cancel services you MUST forward in writing via certified mail to Republic Services your request to cancel and they MUST receive the request. Considering how slimed these people are, do you really think they are going to accept certified mail?!?!? This is the worst company for trash service, they lie, would not provide a copy of the contract (requested over 14 times since 2022) and now are once again attempting to hold us “hostage” with their ridiculous OVER inflated monthly premiums! RUN, RUN, RUN! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will regret it, pay 3x’s what their local competitors pay and they will NOT let you cancel your service!!! We have been with Republic for 10 years….UNFORTUNATELY!

Republic Services has the absolute worst service! If I hadn't just paid them $50 to start my service, I would change over, and it hasn't even been a month. I had a problem with my first statement and so I called. I waited over 40 minutes to speak with someone, who then transferred me and I had to wait on hold again. The second person I spoke with, Angie, was incredibly rude and she sold me a very different story than the first person I spoke with. The started charging me on 6/11, but that is not actually the first day of pickup. Angie said that's normal. You start paying before we pick up your garbage. What???? Then what am I paying for if it's not my garbage to be picked up? After several minutes on the phone Angie agreed to credit me for that week, $1.43. Because Angie told me that is how much I am charged per week for pickup. So I pay $150 a quarter, but one week is $1.43. I realize there are taxes and fees, but that's a little crazy. But no one was going to win an argument with Angie, she was trained well! I don't know how companies like this can stay in business when they treat their customers this way. I would never recommend Republic Services for garbage-stay away!!

Cancelled service for "safety reasons". It has been two weeks and they still have not picked up their bins. The neighborhood is awash in unwanted trash bins waiting for their owner to collect them. BTW service was poor. While they did show up every Monday morning they left a stream of trash in their wake.
