I cancelled my NYC trip due to the Coronavirus. RCI would not refund my $300, and asked me for an additional $300 for cancellation fee. Nobody should do business with this company. They are crook.

I haven't had great experiences with RCI and right now, it's even worse. With the COVID-19 now being officially a pandemic, RCI will not make any allowances on cancellations. I would lose my points and forfeit my payment. Not a good company. They care more about money than their customers.

poor outfit can never get someone to answer a phone & if & when they do they say it’s unavailable even two years in advance, BULL . We were at the wood stone resort in massutton Virginia, listened to the sales pitch & fed us lunch , took us on tour . Then came then price , an it all sounded great , and when we said no for the fifth time wow , we were told we were scared to commit they treated & talked down to us because we said NO

I have been on the phone for 6 hours on 3/9/2020 and 7 hours on 3/10/2020 waiting on hold for hours for RCI to cancel my cruise but they are refusing to pick up the phone and have stolen my cruise package and fees that I paid for a cruise that I have to cancel in April. If anyone else is going through this a class action lawsuit is in order for this company since they scammed many out of their cruise and travel certificate.

Had to cancel the cruise because I have cancer. Did not want to get sick from the virus. RCI stole my money from they r a rip offPLEASE DO NOT BUY THEY PACKAGE. .

I will try not to let my anger colour an objective review. Over 20 years ago we signed over our timeshare to RCI Points. We continue to pay all maintenance fees plus 'administration' fees to RCI. For ten years it worked well. We could take a holiday wherever, whenever and however big or small we wanted. Then RCI had new owners. Holiday options deteriorated rapidly. Only rubbish was 'available' eventually nothing was available. We have not had a holiday from RCI for 7 years despite paying all charges diligently. This is apparently a widespread abuse called 'skimming' and RCI sell the holidays for cash. Their endless advertising demonstrates this. Their response to our pleas for compensation have been ignored and they have stalled and prevaricated over our request to get out of their fraudulent contract. We are RCI Points members but RCI may well be just as corrupt and contemptuous with all their clients. I posted this complaint on their own website 2 days ago and within 24 hours, after months of silence, they 'phoned me trying to explain it was all my fault for not doing the proper paperwork! Their operative hung up when I asked how he felt to be working for crooks.

can anyone share your experience after purchasing timeshare you changed your mind, and it is after the 5 day grace period, were you successful/unsuccessful in cancelling your agreement. i signed this 2 weeks ago and want to cancel..any advice

NEVER USE RCI TRAVEL...Had a trip to Australia due to fires roads closed so had to cancel reservations...after hours on the phone from Australia said it was done...came back and bill still charged...tried on two (over an hour each / multiple reps) occassions to get bill resolved...can never get to RCI Travel and RCI says it can not help...given two special (yea right) phone numbers for RCI Travel always back to RCI ...can't help...then got a "no kidding this will work extension ...connected # not in service...RCI Travel is not reputable and no one needs to book through them...period!
