After booking a holiday in December 2022. We looked forward to our July/ August 2023 holiday. One week before our holiday we got sent an emailing saying they had to slit us into 2 x 1 bedroom 4 sleeper. This was not ideal but as we had a 2 bed 6 sleep booked for the following week in the same resort 2 days later we felt the family would not be tooo split up. Considering we have been coming to this resort on and off for over 10yrs we thought we would at least get a hot tub for messing up. Looking out at the other units most have hot tube. We feel that holiday club members get priority over RCI. Having emailed RCI as this is who we booked through they don’t seem to be able to help. ( sorry seems the go to) Do we trust what we going to get next time!!!!!!!

We were supposed to stay at Oasis by Breeze (#DX87) but at the last minute were were moved to Mangaby. No comparison, much lower quality resort for same amount of money. Then they wanted me to do an upgrade meeting at the resort that we were supposed to stay at! Several other couples were moved here with us from there also. If this place would have been a listing up front we would have never picked it. Didn't have much choice this year as our air fare was already paid for so we could change. Bate and switch, RCI shouldn't allow this to happen. It will ruin there company. It's to bad because we have used this company several times with great success. They need to clean this up.

I have never written a review before but I feel that this is very important so that is why I am writing this review. The name of the resort is called the SHERATON Vista resort fountains Villas in Orlando. I was there for one week building 17 second floor Unit 1308. We stayed from June 25 to July 2. Check in was great no problems well I got in the room of my villa kitchen seem fine dining room living room seem fine went into the bedroom that was not fine went into the guest bedroom that was not fine went into the bathroom that was not fine the master bathroom. I put my hand over the nightstand dresser when I went to plug in my chargeable units to have dust fly everywhere and I mean dust I did take pictures so I hope I can download them and you can see them then I went into my daughters spare bedroom and on her dresser where the TV was again there was dust everywhere so I called customer service and explain the situation and told him I just checked in and I’d like to have someone come up and just the room that it had not been clean properly now mind you I am a member for over close to 40 years. I was told that they do not come up just for dusting and I said you don’t understand it’s not a little dust it’s a lot of dust it’s the top shelf of the nightstand the second shelf of the nightstand my daughters dresser meanwhile I didn’t check the rest of the unit yet to find out that the sink in the master bathroom had hair in it it was gross but I was so upset by the person who answered the phone and told me she would not come up I have cleaning service come up to just the room that I did not want to ruin my vacation and I cleaned myself and said I would be down to customer service to talk to someone during the week being it was my first day getting there . So during the week I went down and I spoke to somebody and they were very apologetic and told me that they would get in touch with housekeeping housekeeping called me and said that they apologize and that they were trying to get me a free week never heard anymore from them no one ever came up to see how my unit was if I needed anything when I did call for towels or garbage bags or any of that stuff they were very accommodating and did bring it right up well by Thursday my duvet which I don’t have one was getting very messy on the bed so I went to move it around to try to fix it which those of you who know what it is it’s a blanket inside a cover while I was getting all kinds of all over the place so as I was shaking it to make it even the bottom of the blanket came out and I noticed three spots of red on the bottom at first I thought it was a lint but it wasn’t it was blood which made me even more upset so I called the manager of housekeeping and he came right away he took the blanket left the duvet but took the blanket help me make the bed told me he would talk to his housekeeping said to me he wasn’t sure if that really was Blood and I said to him are you kidding me I said it’s blood I said you should’ve had it bleached or it should’ve been thrown out we are in the middle of a Covid pandemic. I just think that it was a half ASS job And someone should’ve come up to clean the unit again. Also the night before we checked out we were told to dial zero to see what the balance was on the credit that they had they held for the deposit. To find out that a $36 charge was taken from my $175 deposit and I asked them what that was about and they said that I had charge food and a drink and I said I absolutely did not charge food and drink I never use my room key except to get into my room because you could use your room key to put the food in the drink on your account with your room key and they said they would investigate it and they did find out that somebody else did charge my room for their services of a drink and food so they said they took it off so I’m still waiting to see I’ve been home since Saturday today is Wednesday I’m still waiting for the 175 to go back onto my account and they told me it would take 2 to 3 days so I’m waiting till tomorrow to see what happens I’m sorry I went on and on about this but I just think it’s important that people know. know.

What a very outdated and terrible website to navigate - needs completely revamped and brought up to modern easy to use standards.

The whole world has been affected by the Covid pandemic, but RCI are still charging normal fees for a service they admit they are unable to provide. I would have had to break my Government's laws snd guidelines to travel this year, but I am still being invoiced for full membership and a points saving fee to carry the points I couldn't use this year, on to next year!! What am I being charged for when they couldn't arrange points exchanges? Every travel company/airline/resort has been hit by this awful virus, my own wedding florist business has had to close, but I am asked to pay full fees to RCI? I have emailed to try to discuss a reduction, but was told the fees are in the terms and conditions, but then, so is the service they are meant to offer. RCI will have been able to claim some business support in many counties if staff have had to be laid off. Almost every other annual charge or membership we have has been reduced - even our car insurance company offered a partial refund of premiums. Why then, is RCI different?able to charge full fees for a service they could not provide. P. L.

I bought my parents time-share they purchased in 1987 at Fairfield Glade a point system. I called Wyndham to pay the maintenance fee for 2021. They applied both payments to the same week. After I got the payment applied to the correct week, I called to have that week deposited. RCI said the trading value went down because I missed the deadline for full value. Wyndham can't help because they don't deal with the points they just take the fees. RCI won't reinstate the point, unless I pay the ransom of $69.00! I did everything correct and RCI can't help without paying the ransom! UPDATE! RCI, did give the points back for the week deposited. It is sad that I had to take this is social media and they couldn't help with phone calls or emails.

We had a holiday booked with RCI for 24th July - 7th August, one week using points and the other paid as an extra holiday. We heard from the resort we were due to attend on Monday following a room query, and were advised that the resort was closing for whole of July and potentially August - they advised RCI had been notified. As such we called RCI and were advised we could amend the booking and were advised of alternative accommodation options. We booked another resort and were assured that the hotel was due to be open from 17th July. I have since emailed the diamond resort we have been booked into, only to be told that at present no date is known for the hotel re-opening, and no mention of the 17th July mentioned by the RCI associate! - yet again we are now left not knowing whether our hotel is even open - will we be refunded our exchange fees if the new hotel does not open I wonder? Such poor service - we may now be left again having booked a hotel in good faith that actually is not even noted to be open at present. Stressful!
