I have been a member for a number of years. RCI used to be great with lots of locations and decent availability if you planned ahead. Since the introduction of Platinum (an extra paid upgrade) the locations and selection for trade have slimmed down and it appears some locations that were direct point (and fee) trade are becoming Platinum locations and require the extra add on to your account or ridiculous additional cost plus the points. I have quite a few points banked and have held back my current deposits as I explore other companies. I would explore other possibilities before sinking you weeks here. I am stuck until I use up my existing points or they improve their way of operating.

I booked a vacation and needed up canceling like many others. We are using the week right now and even though we were outside the time frame to book without paying additional transfer fees, the RCI agent was able to take care of us. I would have given them a higher rating, but we booked a 3 Bedroom Condo and ended up with two different units instead. Will see how the wife feels about tow different units instead of one with her sisters and may upgrade the rating after.

RCI DID GET BACK TO ME AND TOOK CARE OF MY SITUATION. GAVE ME ALL THAT I ASKED FOR, AND I TRULY APPRECIATE IT. I ONLY WISH THEY WOULD CHANGE THEIR POLICY SO WE DONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS. ALL IS GOOD, AND THEY DID THE RIGHT THING BY ME. WIN WIN FOR EVERYONE. I was talking to a Zoe H., on line, very un-compassionate person i may add! my Issue is: I had a trip in April that i had to cancel due to COVID19. i was told i had to rebook within 6 month. I re-booked this for July in Branson MO, I even had to PURCHASE a 2nd room to fit my party, because there was not a 2 bedroom like i had in April. Now i have found out my Mother, (the reason for the trip) is not able to travel until there is a vaccine, she is elderly with underlining issues. I purchased extra for the insurance so I did not lose my points, I am NOT asking for a refund only a credit to sit in my account until i can book something else. Zoe, continued to tell me that they cannot help me until we are 30 days out from our trip. WHY, either way we cannot take this trip, until i know my mother will be safe, but I can book something else closer to home for my Husband and i if I had the funds credited to my account. NO one can afford to LOSE money right now. RCI PLEASE CHANGE YOUR POLICY and DO THE RIGHT THING FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS PLEASE. GIVE THEM A CREDIT / REFUND, NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IS AND WHEN THEY REACH OUT TO YOU. WHAT IS YOUR REASONING FOR WAITING UNTIL 30 DAYS OUT? THESE ARE HARD TIMES FOR EVERYONE. Based on the reviews I've seen so far and my experience today, yoir not doing so good. If you want future renewal. Make your customers happy!

can anyone share your experience after purchasing timeshare you changed your mind, and it is after the 5 day grace period, were you successful/unsuccessful in cancelling your agreement. i signed this 2 weeks ago and want to cancel..any advice

Jeg købte min timeshare af en meget dygtig sælger på Costa del sol. Jeg havde forhandlet selve købet samt en uge på hotellet med 3 lejligheder gratis. Da jeg kommer til bestilling er der kun tale om 1 uge, hvilket jeg blev temmelig vred over....Men det gik over som ting jo gør med tiden:-) Nu har jeg ejet min RCI points i 5 år, og det fungerer fint. Jeg betaler årligt gebyr på ca 5000 DKK og bestiller en rejse eller 2. Prisen er vel egentlig ok, men jeg synes det er et problem at finde fly til destinationerne til en ordentlig pris og i perioden. Dette gør at produktet ikke er så attraktivt for mig. Hvis man har adgang til billige fly, eller arbejder et sådant sted er det en god deal som man kan få meget glæde af. Jeg har hørt at mange amerikanere og englændere er glade for RCI - men jeg tror ikke det er noget der gør det hverken nemmere, bedre eller billigere for os danskere at holde ferie.
