I have been a RCI member for almost 40 years. So I received a call giving me a special gift. $3,000 later with COVID in play - nothing! I am so disappointed in RCI and this scam! Please do not purchase anything from RCI. The customer service is unbelievable horrible.

RCI canceled my reservation one month and two weeks before my vacation start. the resort said that to covid 19 they will close it, i called the resort they are actually open. i lost money on my plane ticket + they keeped my 400.00 feed, i dont know what do with this scam system, actually i wasting my vacation too schuduled for May 1 to May 15. Stay away from RCI or Timeshare offers

I purchased RCI timeshare from a co-worker & I’ve been absolutely happy with RCI & the accommodations provided. My home base is in Orlando, Fl & I’m close to several RCI properties in south fl.

Been reading the comments/complaints from other inmates..errr share holders, and I see continuous efforts to get "some response" from RCI to no avail. There HAS to be some RECOURSE we can take without going to court! and they don't seem to care one iota about our problems....it's the same response from them every and I mean EVERY TIME; "We're sorry to hear you're concern, would you please submit in writing what you just submitted here to "RCI Member comments "portal" so that we can review these concerns more closely" or something like that! In other words "we really don't give a S iT about you're problem because we have you right where we want you....under the heel of our boots!

Copy and pasting is not a very professional way to respond to people frustration with your company. Treat each response on a individual basis.

Worst experience ever. Waited 1 hr 42 minutes on a past due fee after several attempts of representative to have me "just pay it" and call back tomorrow to fix what is "apparently a systems error", I somehow got disconnected and now you are closed!!! I have had issues with RCI since November on the same transaction I thought it was cleared up in February as representative booked Vegas for March 25 and credited the guest certificate, points, exchange fee. I went to book a Tahoe room for April and now there is a past due fee of $109!?!! Honestly I have loved you guys over the last years, but your customer service is the worst in the industry. What happened to you? Very sad because you have excellent product and the resorts have been fantastic.

I tried to book my cruise certificate the Saturday before it expired but the department I needed was closed over the weekend. I called on Monday and spent 2 hours being tossed around to different people finally I got someone who said he was emailing his supervisor and would personally call and email me back when it got extended. A week later I heard nothing so I called back and the guy I spoke to said they would call me and he saw the note in the system. I kept calling and finally a month later the guy I spoke to says they stopped doing extensions in January. I asked to speak with a manager and he said I would hear back later that day. I NEVER got a call. The next day someone called to let me know my hotel stay was expiring and I brought it up to her that a manager was supposed to call me. Still no manager has called and I’ll be calling tomorrow again to speak with a manager. Completely unacceptable and such a scam. Not one person in an entire month said they weren’t doing extensions. Clearly they just lie.

To buck the trend of the vast majority of reviews I have to say that my experience of RCI in the past few months has been excellent. They have acted totally within their published guidelines and rules regarding cancellation of holidays during the pandemic. We have been fully refunded our booking fees and RCI points for three separate holidays. RCI initiated the refunds in a proactive, efficient and friendly manner. No complaints whatsoever, and in fact nothing but compliments to the staff involved.
