Phone reps promise but do not deliver. found out after 16 years of payments that my alarm was not actually being monitored called to cancel service and was assured my equipment was under warranty but they wouldn' fix it and required a discounted purchase of a new system

New had a new system installed The phone support was great And the install tech was the best👍🏽

The techs are very professional and courteous. Customer service has been outstanding. We were having an issue with a sensor and the tech replaced it no questions asked.

Have been with the previous owners for 22 yrs. Since Protection 1 has taken over they seem to be doing OK. I do have a present issue with them not calling me when my phone lines went down for several days and me not knowing it. Secondly, I had to try two times to get someone to contact me with regards to installing CCTV around my house. Never got anyone to come out but ended up with a telephone call telling me how good their systems were but the sales person really did not know what they were talking about. I could not get any specific information at all. I gave up and went with a CCTV provider and installer from Waco. All is good. The only other thing that is really not a barn burner is I wanted 6 new Protection 1 signs. When they came the package only had 2. I called again and told them I needed 4 more, guess what... only two arrived, I called again and then got the last two. It was quite a process.

I have been with P1 for 20 + years and have been fully satisfied with my service. They have always been responsive and helpful...and right on when I needed them! Also just started using the website which is quite user-friendly and lets me update contact list and info directly...tho customer reps have always been very helpful and courteous! Recommend this company!

The technicians are poorly trained, and take hours to fiddle around and finally admit they don't know how to fix something. Second technician broke a parking gadget in my garage, moved stuff without permission, didn't fix the problem. Third tech fixed the problem, but declared my broken gadget "fixed" and now I have to fight the company for reimbursement. Terrible service, no refund/credit for my inconvenience (five + hours total) and broken parking gadget.

The contract was the first issue...finally had one after the technician was already waiting for well over an hour. Next, the technician didn't get the note to bring the correct equipment or cameras...contract issue? Next, the one camera the technician had installed fell from its mounted position and the image turned to pink-tones and now doesn't record. Next, I contacted customer service multiple time and took another day of vacation and no technician showed up. Next, I received a notice while waiting for the technician (that didn't show up) telling me that I had been visited by a technician and the problem was resolved. Next, I received a bill for the items that were included in the install. I have not received the services agreed to multiple times and there seems to be multiple communication issues within this company and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

My billing was put on e-mail with out my knowledge. The last paper bill I got was in July for two months service June thru July and July thru August. Out of curiosity I signed up to see if my billing was on E-mail and it was, for July, August and September. I talked with a representative who told me my July payment was "declined", yet I show the check being cashed on July 19th. Now according to them I'm 3 months behind. Bad outfit!!
