All aspects from start to finish was outstanding and everyone was knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Very Pleased So Far
Have had system only 2 weeks but am most pleased with the purchase and installation process and the system functioning so far. Wireless is great as I use Alarm.com frequently to arm/disarm from my smart phone. USAA discount is also great!

Absolutely great service!
The customer service that Protection 1 provides is second to none. They are patient and very helpful. Only thing I would wish to add is an outdoor siren! Other than that I will continue with Protection 1 for years and recommend them to everyone!

Not too thrilled
I've been a customer for almost 2 weeks now and honestly I'm not that crazy with Protection 1. We have not received our account number so how am I supposed to log in to myprotectionone.com. There is a constant Orange warning on our smartphone app that has been there since the day of installation and customer service directed us to the website mentioned above. They made sure to get their money at the day of installation but so far the customer service experience is poor at best. I should have stayed with my previous company. Stay away from Protection 1 if you can. Oh yeah, if you do go with them, expect follow up calls about the service but they can't help.

Good product, poor sales
I was an AST customer who had an old system in the house that worked fine. I called to talk about and upgrade. The sales rep said they would come out and upgrade my system and charge me a higher monthly bill for the upgraded service (mobile remote and monitoring). The rep said that the equipment and instillation would be FREE. I agreed. When they came out not only did they not have the equipment for a full upgrade, they charged me an instillation fee. They sent me the wrong contract that had the charges and were supposed to send me one with no charges for instillation. This has been a total cluster. My suggestion is if they offer free upgrade with instillation and equipment stay on top of them. So they don't try and gouge their customers.
