Rarely am I moved to create a positive review, mostly because I am rarely satisfied by the actual delivery that usually varies from offerings of most companies. But Protect 1 is the exception. Every single thing promised on first contact was delivered. The level of interaction is amazing compared to my earlier experiences with the usual national security firms and the earnest but smaller local security firms.

We were promised local customer service when our company was bought by Protection 1. Though there is still a local service department we do not have a local office to talk to for general customer needs. In addition, when we had a malfunction in a sensor, we got a much delayed phone call from a computer from an "unknown" 800 number. Who answers calls like that? We finally did answer when they called one of the cells, but what logic is there in not identifying the caller ID from an alarm service? We were later told that we should have been given options with that call that might have connected to a human to answer questions about the sensor, but none were given. As legacy customers from the former firm, I am very disappointed at this time. I do not feel Protection1 wants us to remain customers. Also, how genuine is it to only post the 4 and 5-star reviews on your website?
