Great communication and very good questions!

I scheduled an assessment for April 20 and adjusted my work schedule to attend. Four hours before the appointment, the therapist canceled due to a family emergency. I didn’t see it until a few moments before the appt was supposed to begin, but I understood and rescheduled for April 24 at 3 PM as she requested. I again took time off work and joined the session on time. Two minutes *after* it was set to begin, I received a message that the appointment was canceled due to technical issues. There was no attempt to start late or resolve the issue. Just a flat-out “sorry, it’s cancelled.” While I understand emergencies and technical problems happen, this is now a repeated experience. Based on some other reviews, this does not appear to be an isolated issue. This process required significant time and coordination. I completed assessments and asked family and friends to do the same within the given timelines. Having appointments canceled twice after that effort is frustrating and disruptive. Given the lack of reliability, this is not a good fit for someone who needs consistency and clear communication. ESPECIALLY since they tell you that you may be responsible for a $300 fee if *YOU* cancel within less than FIVE business days! Insane. If things improve and I am able to complete my appointment with another therapist successfully, I will update this review.

My experience with Prosper Health was fantastic. After being misdiagnosed, invalidated, and misdiagnosed by other professionals and people in my own life, receiving my diagnosis through Prosper Health is a breath of fresh air. I feel understood by both myself and the professionals who assessed and assisted me at Prosper. Having my diagnosis allows me to know myself, helps the people in my life understand and support me, and leads me towards accessing helpful accommodations, communities, and therapies that I was not able to access before. Plus, my cost was extremely low with insurance. I am eternally grateful!

The process was comprehensive but also warm

The interface is super user friendly. It was easy to look through the list of counselors and find the person that fits my personality. The process is straight forward in what to expect and I was never left with wondering what comes next. The counselor listened well, reiterated what I said to ensure she was understanding properly, and asked clarifying questions when needed. I highly recommend Prosper Health.
