Got diagnosed by an online doctor who…
Got diagnosed by an online doctor who gave me medication that didn’t help but make my ringworm infection worse! And they didnt want to offer a refund for the visit like they stated online. Terrible service and doctor didn’t know what he was doing! Never again!

zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. They immediately charged my credit card $75 without any services being rendered. I called, canceled immediately, they reluctantly refunded my $75. I explained I did not want anything further. Two months later I noticed the same company was charging my credit card $19.99 month. Called my bank to dispute and called plushcare to ask them why they are charging my card. They said I was automatically enrolled in a subscription that I never signed up for. This company is a total scam. Go directly to your doctors not this place.

Hi AA, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We apologize that it did not meet your expectations. The $75 fee typically applies as a no-show fee or for late cancellations/rescheduling when an appointment is canceled or rescheduled within two hours of the scheduled time. Additionally, please note that when you book your first appointment, you are automatically enrolled in our membership program, which is complimentary for the first 30 days. This program allows us to provide our patients with exceptional telehealth services, including same or next-day appointments, access to some of the leading doctors nationwide, and innovative digital health features such as in-app messaging. We communicate details about the membership in several ways: 1. A membership tab is available at the top of our website, www.plushcare.com. 2. When booking your first appointment, you will see a summary of the membership costs. 3. Our welcome email, titled "Welcome to PlushCare," outlines the benefits of the membership. Please reach out to us with any questions at [email protected], we're happy to answer any questions!

Awesome!
Such an easy process! No wait times. Dr Bomani addresses all of my concerns and is always available! The support staff is just as awesome and quick to respond! I will always recommend PlushCare to family and friends. As a healthcare professional myself I can say I am very happy with the care I receive!

PlushCare engaging in predatory billing practices
I signed up for PlushCare on January 16th, 2025, for a simple appointment when my child tested positive for the flu. I am immunocompromised and needed a way to receive anti-virals when our local clinic was closed for the day. They took my insurance, ran it, and told me it was approved and my payment was going to be 25$ after insurance. I paid, had a 5 or so minute call with the assigned Doctor who sent in the medication.
On February 3rd, 2025, I received an email telling me that I owed $203.06. Had I known the charge I would have refused service as this is out of hand for a 5 minute call, and would have been free with our local hospital. It was NOT disclosed, and was a surprise bill, when they state clearly they do not participate in surprise billing.
PlushCare is scamming people by telling everyone their cost after insurance will be 10-20$, and then surprise billing them hundreds after the fact. They know this and are behaving this way intentionally, lying about the price after receiving insurance, and then billing weeks later after the appointment has concluded with no repercussions.
After my appointment, my wife had an account setup, was told she'd owe the same amount, and then they did the exact same thing to her as well. This is a predatory practice and knowingly deceptive.

Hi James, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the unexpected bill that you and your wife received, and we understand how frustrating this situation can be.
At the time of booking we provide a 'cost estimate' from the patients insurance which is clearly communicated during the booking confirmation page. However, it's important to understand that estimating costs can be complex due to various factors including the complexity of the appointment and the insurances response to the claim such as deductibles, co-insurance and co-pays.
We strive for our estimates to be accurate and, in most cases, provide an exact estimate or overestimate in which patients are promptly refunded based on their insurances response to the claim. It is never our intention to mislead patients regarding costs.
We'd be happy to review and discuss in detail, please reach out to us directly at [email protected] and we'll be happy to to assist!

A very disappointing first time use for this app.
I created a new account with Plush scheduled an appointment.
I waited 15 minutes on line for the doctor to log on then I received a message informing me that the doctor is unable to join and that I can reschedule. When I tried to choose a future time, it added on a 75.00 (late schedule fee). I tried calling customer service and no answer.
Very disappointing.

Hi Kelly, Thank you for providing your feedback and apologize for the experience! We would be happy to look into your account as that should not be the case if the physician is unable to join. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to assist you!

Plush Care has been outstanding for me
Plush Care has been outstanding for me. Twice I've been acutely ill and have scheduled an appointment at 6:30am and both times, the doctor I chose diagnosed my problem correctly and treated it by sending a prescription to my pharmacy. Time investment was 10 minutes. From home. Truly Awesome!

The Doctor and experience was great but…
The Doctor and experience was great but I'd like to make her my primary doctor, and I can't find her again. So that's the only negative. I don't want to see random doctors everytime I make an appontment.
