Bait and Switch Tactics
Stay away from this company, they use bait and switch tactics to scam you. They will keep having you schedule additional appointments without providing the service you pay for. The appointments are only 15 min and they always have a reason you need to schedule another appointment so they can finish.

Billing is a nightmare
I had four appointments with a PlushCare physician beginning in late 2022. I adored my provider - if she was local to me I’d see her in person. Very kind, knowledgeable and empathetic and her treatment course helped me tremendously.
In 2023, for my third appointment, (when my deductible started over) PC charged $69 for what should have been a $30 co-pay. When I called, PC looked at the Explanation of Benefits for the visit and agreed that I do have a $30 co-pay. They refunded $39 but blamed my insurance provider, Aetna, for providing the information about the co-pay amount. The customer service representative said since Aetna says I have a $69 co-pay, I have to pay that amount prior to each appointment and then once Aetna pays PC for the visit with my dr, I can call PC and request a refund for $39. This sounded insane to me so I reached out to Aetna to ask for their help. Two different Aetna representatives contacted PC to clarify that 1) Aetna does not even have a $69 co-pay on any of its plans so couldn’t have provided that co-pay information 2) my co-pay is $30 and 3) as an in-network provider with Aetna, PlushCare is contractually obligated to charge the agreed upon co-pay.
None of that helped. Prior to my fourth (and unfortunately, final) appointment, PC did the exact same thing and charged the incorrect $69 co-pay. Once again, I called PC and had $39 refunded to my credit card.
I haven’t made another appointment with PC and I don’t suggest that anyone does unless you have lots of free time to spend on hold with PC just to have your own money refunded to you. It is a shame that excellent healthcare providers and the people that need their help have great relationships ruined by incompetent billing practices that make absolutely no sense.

This service is an obvious scam
This service is an obvious scam. They charged me $99 for membership, $129 for meeting and then send me a $205 bill which I paid due to not knowing they had charged my credit card. When I called them I was told they assumed that insurance might not pay them so they were passing the bill to me. They got a total of $424 from me for a 5 minute consult. NEVER using them again!!!!!

Dr visit
Dr. Le is great
She understands my needs and concerns and addresses them one at a time and talks to me and not AT me.

Misleading Price Marketing
Their website states that if you have health insurance, the "typical" out of pocket expense is $30. I opted to go with this service thinking I would save money vs. going into an urgent care facility. I ended up being charged for $112 in total. I called customer service and asked about this, and the rep reached out to her manager and the answer I was given was that the out of pocket expense could be "as low as" $30. The website currently states "typical", so the marketing is misleading. If you have a high deductible health plan and haven't reached your deductible, plan on paying closer to the out of pocket cost of $129.

Registered Nurse advise, Never use this service
As a Registered Nurse who used this service. I would advice everyone not to use this services. They charge insurance company’s for way more services than they provide and if the insurance won’t cover it the cost falls on you. This company is not transparent with their practices at all. Use it at your own risk or find a different service that isn’t a bunch of thieves. Someone is going to sue this company one these day. Never in my life. The doctors are real and okay. Its’s the billing and other representatives that would mess up your life.
