Very very disappointed with Pitboss. My boyfriend new smoker which he bought in March for his birthday is still yes still missing parts. Where are you ordering them from China?????????? We still have not got them. Excuses galore. Don’t buy Pitboss goods.

We bought a Pit Boss hoping it would stand up to our hopes and that we wouldn’t have to spend the ridiculous amount on a Traeger. It stopped working after a week and then when we tried to use the warranty we signed up for they wouldn’t honor it. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

If I could give less than one star I would. My family just bought the PBV30AS and it was a nightmare. First off the screws were either too short or barely useful for the slider/vent. I had to literally push/pull pieces together to make them fit. Second, the instructions are awful. Who gives instructions with no words and pictures that barely explain anything? And to add insult to injury there’s no assembly video to try and explain how to put it together. I had to use guess work and Google AI to figure out the rest and even then it didn’t turn out well. I would not recommend this brand to anyone. You all are not user friendly and the products are a pain to deal with. If possible I’d like to file an official complaint with your corporate office because there’s no way it should take a whole Sunday morning to put together a mediocre smoker that you claim only takes 45 minutes to build. I have an Austin XL 1100. There’s still a year worth of warranty. They have sent every part multiple times. It’s still not working. They want to keep troubleshooting. I’m done with it. Just massively disappointed. I've tried contacting the company on a number of occasions and through various different methods and have just been ignored. The email on their website doesn't work either it actually bounces back as not used. I find myself in the annoying position of having to try and salvage a rusting cooking surface that isn't even 2 years old, despite being maintained exactly how PitBoss ask. I only used branded plastic pit boss tools. Have never used an abrasive cleaner. And the grill has lived under a pit boss branded weather cover in a dry garage for the vast majority of it's life. I gave them so much opportunity to respond to me and offer help, but I haven't even had a single response. I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Biggest POS I’ve ever owned. Spent good money on this smoker and I get to use it once every other time because it has a problem and shuts off. 4 control boards later and an igniter. Still fails repeatedly. Customer service does absolutely nothing for help. Am I just supposed to have parts shipped to me my whole time during my 5 year warranty. Do all the work myself? Once that’s up I’m just SOL? At what point do they actually do something? I will never buy pit boss again or recommend it to anyone.

Review below from different forum. Contacted customer service. They advised getting blow torches or screw extracting tools to replace an obvious manufacturers defect. This company is shameful. Hey has anyone had issues with a pit boss pellet smoker? Bought an 850 under a year ago, used it a few times. Kept it under a porch with a cover. It's not igniting now. Got replacement igniter but it's been a pain trying to remove fire pot to replace it. Seems like a POS to have these issues with such little use. Used to have different smokers but getting older and wanted something a little less labor intensive.

I have a pitboss navigator 550. It is made out of good quality material. I had an issue with the igniter after 2 years of use and they sent a replacement to me . Very happy with the product and customer service.
