The pit boss copperhead was a gift August 2023 is has never cooked at temperature it was set at it cooks a minimum 35 to as much as 50 degrees hotter NOT GOOD most of my cooking is done at 225 or 250 I verified the temperature with 3 other oven temperature gauges all of them were within a degree of each other,all about 35 to 50 degrees hotter then temp set on pit boss So after 4 calls to the ZERO CUSTOMER service a new temp probe was to be sent under warranty, the built in one on the unit ,as of today NO REPLACEMENT TEMP SENDING UNIT has been 4 weeks now Nothing but excuses, if it were not have been a gift from family IT would .... Be a planter in the yard it sucks and the company it worse. By the 4 of July it will gone .Do yourselves a favor READ OTHER REVIEWS they average 1 .8 stars way to high. AND GET ANOTHER GRILL YOU WIILL BE HAPPIER IN THE END.do NOT GET A PIT BOSS PRODUCT, BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET ANY SERVICE FROM THE COMPANY. NONE ... I am going to be at a big event this week and the smoker was going to be used, NOT any more. But know this Pit Boss I will make Sure everyone will know about your customer no service we are talking hundreds of folks. Hard to list a date there are about 7 since Sept 2023 contact me for the ticket number for proof

Pit Boss warranty is not worth paper its printed . The next person ask me about pellet smoker ,i will tell them not yo buy pit boss

I purchases the 850 CS and first I was not able to connect to their app. I called and the attitude was very meh "yeah we've been having problems, try it again in a week or two"! The after 3 weeks still could not connect so i call again and I got a I don't care attitude from their "customer service" and I was now told that I had to split my wifi signal! So after another 1/2 hour with my provider it finally worked then it wreaked havoc on everything we had hook to wifi!

They have a warranty for replacement parts, just don’t have any in stock. Still waiting for close to 3 months for a part. There online help is non/existsnt. Won’t purchase from them again.

The1600 pro sucks the 1100 pro is a1000 times better I wished I had Two 1100 pros .I own 4 pit boss products all work great except for the 1600 (stay clear) they know it's a bad design . Will not get to temp. Or maintain temp. The 1100 runs circles Around it just wish it had more room

Pitboss smokers are junk. I've had problem since I got mine. They send me parts to work on myself. It's still not right, I've used it twice a lot of money for junk.

3 or 4 years ago I bought the, "Pit Boss Laredo 1000 Platinum. I have smoked meats on this thing since the day I bought it, and loved. About 2 months ago I couldn't set the temp. from the grill. I called customer service and was helped promptly. The Pit Boss rep, ran through several scenarios and found out I had a bad control panel. I was asked some basic information about how long I had my grill. I was asked my shipping address and they sent me a new control panel, at 0 cost to me. This is a grill that sits out in the weather, all though I did buy the grill cover and it stays covered when not in use, it's still in the weather. I can't believe the world class customer service of this company! I will definitely buy more Pit Boss products. Tommy Humbles

I bought a 1600 Pro Series and I had 50 pounds of brisket on Christmas Eve I wake up at 3am to check on it have a fan error and smoker shut down don't know when! Thing is only 9 months old so pretty much ruined Christmas dinner. Called customer service said they would send a new fan took week and a half when it arrived was to cold in Iowa to do anything so any way part sat for a few weeks. Then we got some warm weather planned on smoking some stuff so installed new fan. Plugged it in same error smoker won't start. Back on phone for another hour we'll send another fan NO we'll send a control board. Asked when will I get it I am having a party and have no smoker. They tell me don't know we ordered it but don't ship it so here we are on Friday and part hasn't even shipped! Heading into 3 months this thing hasn't worked $700 paper weight in my garage NEVER AGAIN Pit Boss!!! Huge piece of SH..!
