Ordered a pellet smoker. Still processing 3 weeks later. Customer service is a joke. 3 weeks processing and still have to wait 10-20 days to recieve from shipping. Good grief. There basically goes entire summer waiting on this item. All customer service could say is sorry we having large amounts of orders....got same thing from Tractor Supply and it's already shipped as of 06/24/2024...will be in 3 days

Let me preface by saying I have a Pit Boss 800 series that does a great job. This lead me to purchase a Pit Boss Sportsman. I read and followed the directions for "break in." The unit worked fine. Following the directions for use, the grill worked fine. Again following the directions, I turned off the grill. After dinner, I walked out to put it away and it was still smoking! It was burning up through the auger and into the woodbox! I left it outside and it burned for two days. So, I called customer service for a replacement Sportsman. This one was defective. Boy was I surprised. The customer service agent tried every which way to blame ME for the problem. After that, he said they don't warrant the woodbox. He knew right well that the fire box and auger design is where the product is defective, but would not admit it or stand behind their warranty. I went from a huge fan of theirs to a huge doubter. Now I say, don't buy Pit Boss.

Ordered a knife set may 23rd got a email saying it's Ordered with a order #. Haven't heard anything since then and it's June 18th. Decided to give them a call and was told they are really busy with orders and it should ship out within the next week..... didn't offer to express shipping for me waiting 4 weeks for a knife set also couldn't give me a shipment date. Worse costumer support

Bought the pro series upright and it was missing the grease trap bracket. I contacted “customer support “ on April 6, 2024 and it’s now June 7. Still no brackets. Was told when it was ordered that it would be approximately three weeks. Three months and still no status. Do not buy a Pitt Boss, they do not care or support the customer.

The auger motor went out on my pit boss xl. Fortunately it was under warranty, unfortunately it's a joke. They sent me a replacement motor. They wanted me to fix it,so I did or better yet I tried. Once new motor was reinstalled and powered up the Auger that gets the wood pellets to the ignitor started spinning the auger backwards out of the machine. I called was told sorry and they would send me a new motor. I've been more than compliant. I said no. It's not fair to me. I do not work for pit boss. I was called by somebody named Gavin who then prompted me to FIX THE REPLACEMENT PART THE DEFECTIVE PART. He wanted to FaceTime and walk me through it. Seriously, now I should fix the replacement part. I filed a complaint with the BBB . I wanted and exchange or a refund. Don't care about it now. We have jobs we are just gonna buy a new one and leave the complaint on the BBB website. Hopefully they'll learn some customer service and try and stand behind their product in the future.

My son and I purchased a pit boss grill for my husband in June 2021. The entire grill has rusted out and has fallin about and there is no warranty or recourse for us. Please Purchase a different brand. We spent over $700.00 and now I have a pile of rust. I have sent them pictures with no response. Please no not purchase from this company. Pure JUNK>

After 3 months of great smoking we started having error code after error code. At first customer service seemed great acting like we are sending a replacement part that is going to fix issue. We replace the part still error codes. Again customer service we are sending out this part. This is going to be the issue. Nope not issue again error codes. After the grill caught on fire and customer service was rude, acted as though we didn't read the owners manual, we got hung up on and told they couldn't continue to help us we are just at a loss. They would not be replacing the grill they only cover parts. They are trouble shooting the system from a computer and are just giving you answers that a computer pops up with hoping that it might be the problem. After being treated so poorly by several members of their staff I can say their website is a lie and so is their products. Yes we are frustrated and yes we voiced that over the phone. Their website also says they honor their hero's. Well first responder and can honestly say they don't honor their hero's in any way that would represent respect and honor. We are now out $500 due to a grill not working and we have only had it for 5 months. We work hard for our money and Pit Boss is not the company they make themselves out to be online and do not back their products. They should make it right but have failed to do so. Will not be buying another Pit boss again.

Order pit boss over 3 weeks ago, website indicated they would ship within 5 business days, they would send shipping confirmation email. I have received nothing. Reached out to customer support and was told all they could do was let me know they received the order and the warehouse has the order, could not advise me on when product will ship. Not sure where their warehouse is located, must be somewhere that there is no computer service.. I used a military discount that pit boss offered, maybe they are making sure they ship to full paying customers first. Very disappointed. Will be canceling order and buying a competitors product
