I spent the time to fill out the necessary information and then at the end it wouldn't let me do anything so I had to call them only to find out did they will not work with you if you have pain medications that are in the opioid category. There should be a way to find this out upfront before spending all the time on their website and phone calls filling out forms. Now all my information is in their system and available for hacking

I have been using Pillpack for about 6 months. I take 10 different medications. The first month I received two boxes with the rolls of packets. Each packet contains no more than 3 pills (even though the pack could clearly contain much more) and they decide when you should take them. Due to my schedule I am only able to take my meds twice a day. I have one med that is written to be taken three times per day. However, I have discussed it with my physician and he indicated it would be alright to take two in the morning an one in the evening. However, Pillpack decides when you take each med. So each morning I would have three packets to take plus a fourth for my afternoon med. That's 4 packets in the morning and another 3 in the evening. Each packet is plastic and nonbiodegradable. Over a month's time that's a lot of plastic. I contacted Pill Pack and asked that they simply send me my pills in bottles (I have the mental and physical ability to fill a simple weekly day by day pill container). I asked to receive them all at one time (just as they provided in the month's roll of packets). This has never occured, I receive one bottle one day, maybe 2 or 3 few days later and so on. The boxes appear to only have the capacity to send three bottles at the most and even if a pill is very small you get a large bottle (it appears there are only two bottle sizes). I have called them each month to try to rectify the situation but alway get an excuse and then a promise they will send "bridge" supply to line them up for a single delivery, that still has not happened.

between phone calls at 6am,missing pills from packs, customer service reps unable to spell my name or my doctor's or my prescription correctly, I just can't with these guys anymore. I don't even think they're sending me real medication.

I tried PillPack despite its less than stellar reviews. Everything ran well enough at first and everyone was professional at first. Then, I had a new medication added that wasn't approved by insurance. PillPack decided to charge me without approval with no notice. When I contacted customer support, they submitted a refund request for the medication that was denied. The customer support rep then claimed that they had notified me in a specific email. I pulled up the email in question to show them that they had not. They continued to claim that they had told me about the medication even though they hadn't. Frustrating and insulting. Switching to a different multipack service.

If I could give this zero Stars I would. I would not recommend pillpack to anyone. I waited for 2 weeks to have my pillpack delivered , and every day they would tell me it would be another day. I started to run out of my medications, so I had to have them send my prescriptions to a local pharmacy. They transferred all of my prescriptions except for one which is a controlled substance I used for sleep. They refuse to give me my prescription, and I'm not sure what they are using my medication for but they have kept my medication. Don't trust them!!!

Amazing, one of a kind. May be saving my mothers life. Granted, we're only two months into the service, but it's been amazing. My mothers online pharmacy/medicare prescription plan did not package her meds, and she's on 9 different a day - 3 times a day. She would forget, or over take, it was frustrating even with a box sorter. It was hard for me even to get them sorted correctly. I bet we have had 3 ER visits with her blood pressure raging out of control, or too low. Pill Pack is a dream. Her copays (many zero) are the same, and they call when they think her tier 4 is over priced. They send out a pre-shipping list every month to check for changes. Communication is wonderful. It took a bit to get everything in line between the Dr, her online pharmacy, and the pill packs, but once it all fell in place, it's been a god send.

We started using PillPack about 10 months ago for our daughter's prescriptions. She takes everything in her pack at the same time each day. The experience was fantastic. Having her medicine come to our door was so convenient. After about 3 or 4 months I signed up and moved my meds over to PillPack that's where my experience took a turn for the worse. I expected a bit of trouble when they moved my medicine from CVS to PillPack as CVS has implemented a new labeling / prescription system and arbitrarily decided I took all of my medication in the morning. I don't with the exception of two medications my Dr. recommeded I take in the morning I take everything at night. I have our whole house on the same schedule morning meds at 7:30 am evening meds at 8:00 pm. I spoke with PillPack explained how I wanted my meds packaged and received meds packaged to be taken 4 times a day. I emailed PillPack and explained that this isn't how I take my medicine and I will miss meds if they package them this way. I take a daily med to prevent migraines that does horrid things to my memory. PillPack customer service assured me that this would be no problem and it would be fixed on my next shipment! Fantastic! My next shipment comes with medicine packaged to take 3 times a day. -_- I call PillPack and ask them again to package my medicine for 7:30 am and 8:00 pm. I've already spent a month forgetting to take meds at least twice a week because of the previous months packaging. If the pharmacist needs to pack it for some other times I don't care but I need my meds to only be in there for two times a day. I know it sounds stupid but I will forget to take meds. They assure me on the phone that it will be taken care of for next months shipment! Great, it must have just been a communication problem! My next shipment comes in the same way. Now I'm upset. I email them and "Ben" from customer service responds blaming my doctors office for PillPacks inability to package medication as requested. I would happily believe that if I wasn't a "trust but verify" person. So I check ALL of my meds instructions. "Take 1 pill daily in the morning" "Take 1 pill twice daily" "Take 1 pill once a day." "Take 1 pill once a day." Hmm no times on these just "twice daily" "in the morning" "once a day". Pillpack blamed my doctors office for being unable to follow directions. I asked them to package my pills properly for the next shipment. My shipment comes and it's wrong, again, and now I'm angry, frustrated and wanting to yell at someone. I repackage my meds after writing "Packaged Incorrectly" "Wrong" all over the packages and the box and I ship that back to PillPack. Then I call them and tell them it's on it's way back because they can't follow directions. I follow up with an email after USPS tracking shows it's been received there. PillPack calls me because surprisingly they received all my meds back and they need to verify my information. I call back, forget to write down the reps name, and after being on the phone for far far far too long this is what shakes out. 1. They will get around to refunding my bank account in 5-7 business days. 2. They'll get in touch with my insurance company to reverse the claim. 3. They're destroying the meds and aren't going to repackage them correctly because I don't have refills on anything (? my insurance claim paperwork is showing plenty of refills left but you do you boo) so my doctor needs to send new prescriptions. 4. The pharmacist still isn't promising they are capable of packaing meds for 7:30 am and 8:00 pm like I need them to. I recap all that ridiculousness for them just to verify that I'm not misunderstanding and then end up hanging up on their rep because it's that or start screaming and really it's not that poor girls fault that the company is being awful and multiple people are making just getting my meds so I can take them properly difficult. After getting off the phone with PillPack I hit my Dr. up and had all new scripts for all of my meds sent to a local pharmacy who does bubble packs. They won't package my Vit D3 or my OTC zantac in my bubbles without a prescription but I have so few cares left to give at this point I will just take my chances on remembering to actually take them. Then I called Highmark and spoke to Raeann and I apologized from the start becuase I'm having the most frustrating of times with this. Not only did she make a bunch of phone calls to get the reversal done today so I'm not paying retail for my meds for this month she also called the new pharmacy for me and gave them authorization numbers. Huge shoutout to Highmark for their staff they might mess my billing up 90% of the time on our kids stuff but their customer service is on point. All in all if you're on meds that only need to be taken once a day PillPack is convenient it comes to your door, it's in nice neat little packs. The plastic can rip places other than the perforations but that's just what it is. I wouldn't use them if your meds are more complicated than that because their very cheerful customer service team is not going to be able to fix anything for you. ---Update 8/15/2019--- I received a text a few days ago the PillPack.com had gotten refills from my doctor's office. This was odd as I'd thought I made it pretty clear I was going to be using a local pharmacy. So I contacted them, again, and asked them to please cancel my account advising them that they are not the right fit for me as a pharmacy. I suppose I'll find out at the end of August if it's a race to see who fills my meds first and gets paid by the insurance company or if they've actually, finally, listened to me at least once.

It is indeed handy to have someone combine my medications and not to have to deal with the pharmacy trips. BUT .... here's "the rest of the story". I still must sort out my OTC meds (vitamins, supplements, etc) or pay 3x what I usually do to have them included. Even if I bit that bullet as an expensive convenience, their delivery method is honestly a deal breaker!! When you pull out the packet from the roll in the box, the risk or likelihood is that the thin pack material tears open anywhere BUT on the perforated line. PillPack, here's a news flash: when using a heat source to seal a tube of material into small individual pouches, it tends to make the two layers into one layer twice as thick and stronger than one thin easy to tear layer !! Even with the heat source installed perforated line, it's still easier for the pouch to tear open scattering your medications everywhere. Their "fix" according to a PillPack person is to keep a pair of scissors sticking out of the box to do what their design engineers can't do. I'm sorry, Just too much trouble searching for those meds that escaped without warning.
