If I could give them a "0" star I would. My medications were supposed to come in packets not a bunch of bottles. Who wants to keep up with a bunch of bottles. Shipped in separate orders. Set on the phone for 45 minutes and gave up. I'm changing back to my previous pharmacy. A tiny extra cost is worth not having to worry about not getting what you're supposed to get.

What a SHAME and EMBARRASSMENT that Amazon would put their Brand on something as incompetent as this Pharmacy. Prescription REFILLS put on hold for "pharmacist review" for days at a time, virtually nonexistent customer service, additional delays due to 2 to 5 day shipping times (no deliveries on weekends). You will be at the mercy of a nameless, faceless corporate entity who could honestly care less about you running out of your prescription medications for days, or weeks at a time. Spare yourself the suffering and stick with CVS.

Dont even bother, these people don't care about you. They never answer there phones either so good luck getting your life sustaining prescription transferred to a pharmacy that actually cares, you will have to go without and end up having to call your prescriber to prescribe it again. The chat is full of rude people that don't care and refuse to help.

I've never actually used Amazon pharmacy and was contemplating trying it out. But after hearing a commercial about a guy complaining about listening to someone talking about gout it made it very clear to me their pharmacists have zero clue about gout. 1/3 women that have struggled with gout that had also chose to have natural childbirth said they would rather deal with the pain of natural child birthing over the pain of gout

These people are so incompetent. I’ve been trying to fill a prescription for a week and keep getting the run around from them. They do not communicate with the insurance company or the prescriber and then ask you to do it to “expedite”. Complete waste of time and energy

There are other delivery options. I found out that the pharmacy that I've used for years offers this after I transferred to test out Amazon. Here's the thing. They leave your medicine on the front porch and do not communicate well when it will be there. They don't knock, just leave it out in the open. The other issue is that they randomly cancel prescriptions. I had two medications that are not controlled substances that I've taken at the same dosage for 8 years. I've had blood work. I am healthy. I've had 5 medical providers approve this particular combination. I've always been told it's safe by my pharmacist...at 5 pharmacies. Amazon filled one of my medications then wanted to do a "safety check" for the other. When I saw this I immediately contacted my old pharmacy to have them transferred back. They've always been prompt when transferring in the past, even over the weekend. I know it's not them. But it's been two days and they haven't been able to reach Amazon. In the meantime Amazon sent me a message telling me they were ready to fill my med immediately followed by a message telling me they'd canceled my prescription. When I looked at why, they said that it was either because there'd been a change to my prescription or my provider told them I no longer needed it. I know that neither of these things are true because my provider's clinic has been closed the entire time this "review" was happening. Don't let Amazon screw up your meds. I have an appointment with my provider on the day I'd need a refill of this particular med and will have it straightened out one way or another but otherwise I'd be going cold turkey off of a blood pressure medication that's considered dangerous to suddenly stop taking.

Amazon Pharmacy can be Good IF used along with your Local Pharmacy The result of my experience after 9 months of using Amazon Pharmacy (I’m a Prime member) (as of 1/10/2025): 1) DO use Amazon Pharmacy (AP) if you have MAINTENANCE meds to refill regularly like blood pressure, cholesterol lowering, or any other meds you refill regularly, OR if you are filling a script that is not time-sensitive. 2) DO use AP if you are NOT concerned about a one business day delay or rescheduling of delivery of your medication occasionally. Scripts usually arrive within two business days. 3) DO use AP if you want to be given the option before ordering to use insurance or NOT. Often, AP’s price for a prescription medication is well below the “Insurance Price” of the medication. You can check both before ordering. 4) DO use AP if you want the ability to display/print a consolidated report of all orders for any time period with details and prices paid for your meds. 5) DO NOT use AP if you are ordering time-sensitive or time-critical prescription medications. Use your local pharmacy instead and check both your insurance price and the GoodRx (or similar vendor) price at your local pharmacy to get the best deal while keeping in mind that choosing not to use your insurance for prescription medications may affect your insurance deductible/copay amounts through the benefit year. 6) Instead of trying to “fix” a prescription that’s already at AP and with which you’re having trouble, sometimes it’s easier to message your provider to ask the m to send a new prescription to AP. All in all, AP has been a complement to my local CVS pharmacy. I don’t consider it to be a replacement. If I need a script as soon as as possible it goes to my local CVS and if I need a maintenance refill later on I ask the PROVIDER (not CVS — CVS will not transfer scripts to AP!!!) to send a new script to AP. I feel sort of bad for people who are forced by their health plans to use ONLY Amazon Pharmacy. I know how frustrating it must be if you have to contact a human, and AP better get its s—t together in terms of providing better human-based customer service.

Long time amazon customer , decided to transfer over tretinoin .025% cream ( generic) from my old pharmacy to them since they advertised a 30 day supply (45g) without insurance is $20.50. When I went to check out the price changed to $45. Since their phone holds are insanely long I chatted with an rep and was told I would get two tubes ( I told her I NEVER paid so much for one tube of 45g ) since I thought I was getting two tubes I placed order. To my surprise I only got one tube. I called amazon and got a really rude rep and got an attitude when I asked to be transferred, and was told by another rep billing would fix the issue. few days pass and issue still not fixed and had to call in and wait over 30 mins again and I kept asking the rep if I could show here where I am seeing the 30 day for $20.50 at 45g and was told that sometimes the pictures dont match the quantity being sent out. This is deceptive advertising!! They refused to make it right, and I will be filing a claim of theft and transferring back my prescription. I am taking the time to write this to warn people to not engage with Amazon when it comes to your med because the customer service is TERRIBLE and thats if you can reach someone.
