Amazon doesn't submit insurance claims. They say they do, but it isn't true. They leave drugs on your front porch and you don't get the option to have them delivered to a locker.

Physician prescribed medication to Amazon pharmacy. Checked on Amazon Pharmacy app and it never showed up on medication list. After verifying with my physician of medications prescribed, I called Amazon and they couldn’t give me answers or help me resolve the problem. Advised must be a technical problem please transfer to a local pharmacy!! So why am I using the Amazon app??? Medications are truly important to customers! It should not be this hard to get your medication you need!! I don’t believe Amazon feels the same way.

the people I have spoken with are really nice. But I have been trying to get an insurance price for my meds for a month and Amazon Pharmacy won't give me a prices on what my insurance will cover and what is my responsibility until the meds are ready for refills. By that time it will be too late to return to my old pharmacy before I run out of the meds. Did I mention these meds are for my heart? The pharmacy tells me that they need verification from the doctor, when just yesterday, the doctor called in a new prescription. Is that not verification enough? I'm not happy and am thinking about changing back to my old pharmacy.

I don't use this service because Amazon can't deliver regular products on a timely basis. Rely on them to deliver medications, especially if life dependent? Not.....

So I have been told that my prescription was damaged in shipping and is being returned to them to be destroyed. But this used my my prescription... So now I have to get another prescription from my Dr. because they have no way of resetting it even though they can see I never received it. Also their system won't let them request a refill from this Dr.. Amazon shouldn't be allowed to have a Pharmacy!

I’m beyond frustrated with how Amazon Pharmacy handled a massive price change on my prescription. Without any real warning, the price jumped from $30 to $560 — and they only sent a single email to my secondary email address. I used that email because my primary got locked when I transferred my prescriptions over, and Amazon told me they couldn’t change it. Fine. But when a price increases by more than 18x, how do you not follow up with a call, text, or at least a confirmation before shipping? To make it worse, my toddler was seriously sick at the time, and I was busy going from urgent care to clinics. I completely missed the one email, and then I got hit with a $560 charge on my credit card without ever approving it. When I asked for future alerts by text or phone, they flat-out said it’s not possible. Seriously? This is a pharmacy handling important medications. Not having basic communication safeguards in place is irresponsible and infuriating. I expected better from Amazon.

Got 1 star because you can't give 0. My prescriptions have either been lost or stolen. They have no clue. Caused complications with getting HMO approval for same rx in same week. Another was last refill so now trying to get renewed but request sent to wrong doctor. Rx should be ordered a month out to give reasonable chance of it arriving when needed.
