Expensive But Quick
For the expense, I was disappointed in what I received, but I got what I required at least. Would have rather gotten a long term therapist that could’ve provided me with actual treatment, as well as a letter. But this worked in a pinch (so far, at least). Note that you’ll have to make this a yearly charge, because they include an expiration date on the letter. If you’re getting this because of a landlord, I’d make sure that landlord isn’t going to put up a fuss because then you very well may just be screwed. The letter from Pettable is highly insufficient for any housing agency that wants to keep animals out at all costs. The fact that a second appointment isn’t even covered in the initial $170 charge, when you’re supposed to have at least a month long relationship with a therapist to receive an ESA letter is a big red flag. The therapist I was matched with was very nice, we only spoke for about 10 minutes though, and then she emailed me a letter. That’s all I got for $170. This worked in a pinch (for housing agencies that don’t look too closely), but it’s not something I’d recommend.
