Extremely Disappointed With the Therapist and Pettable’s Evaluation Process My experience with Pettable has been extremely disappointing and concerning. I paid for ESA evaluations for my dogs, Imagery and Eugene, expecting a fair, individualized assessment. Instead, I was left questioning whether the evaluation process was being handled fairly and appropriately. During my evaluation, the therapist approved Imagery but denied Eugene. When I specifically asked what had changed since last year and why the outcome was different, I was told that Imagery’s size was the issue. I find this explanation deeply concerning, especially given the legal protections that may apply to assistance animals and the importance of evaluating each request based on the individual circumstances rather than blanket assumptions about an animal’s size or breed. What makes this even more frustrating is that my mother previously received approval for her own assistance animals, including a larger dog. Naturally, this raised questions for me about the consistency of Pettable’s evaluation process and the reasoning behind the decision in my case. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for a fair, consistent, and properly explained evaluation. If there are legitimate reasons for denying a request, those reasons should be clearly communicated rather than leaving a customer feeling that an animal’s physical size alone determined the outcome. I paid for this service expecting professionalism, transparency, and an individualized assessment. Instead, I have been left frustrated, disappointed, and seeking a refund for a service that did not meet my expectations. I have already contacted Pettable to request a resolution. I hope the company takes this complaint seriously, reviews the therapist’s decision and explanation, and addresses my concerns appropriately. I would encourage anyone considering Pettable to ask questions about its evaluation process, how decisions are made, and what happens if a request is denied. Customers deserve transparency, respectful communication, and confidence that their cases are being evaluated fairly.
