Too Much Nickle and Diming.. This is not exactly what it seems or says
So while I did receive my letter for ESA successfully, the process and costs were misleading. I paid one price for the service ($149 for the service plus $50 for expediting totaling $199). The site makes it seem like that is it. Not so fast. Because the verification process requires verification and authentication an ROI authorization form is needed and in order to submit that and have it completed, I am required to pay another fee ($50). Why on earth would that not be included in the fee I paid originally. Like I said Nickle and Diming. Bad customer experience and I cannot and will not refer anyone to Pettable for that reason. Because I needed the verification completed urgently due to a health related relocation I had no choice but to pay it. More or less a gun held to my head. Pettable needs to think about this. Or make the ROI auth part of the initial process so it is inclusive. I plan on reaching out to support on this and the BBB

Hi Dennis, my apologies that the Forms add was an unpleasant experience for you. The majority of housing agencies do not ask for additional verification alongside an ESA letter. This is why we have it listed as an extra service. If it was included in the original package, other people would be paying for that feature who don't need it, which doesn't seem fair. I do understand you point of view though, and will consider it in any package changes we make moving forward.
