Refused ESA letter to pregnant woman…
Refused to write me a letter because I was pregnant. The therapist claimed he could not conclusively say I was depressed or anxious or if it was just pregnancy, as if the two are mutually exclusive. Misogynistic man.

Hi Anna, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand why this interaction left you feeling upset and unsupported. Conversations regarding mental health should always be handled with care, empathy, and professionalism, and we regret that this was not your experience. While ESA recommendations must be based on a clinician’s independent professional evaluation, we take concerns about dismissive communication and perceived bias very seriously. Pregnancy and mental health concerns are deeply personal matters, and you should have felt heard and respected throughout the process. We would appreciate the opportunity to review your case further and address your concerns directly. Please contact our support team at [email protected] or (855) 920-0323 so we can investigate this matter thoroughly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
