Good , fast response, & knowledgeable staff. Love this application it prevents unecessary trips to the vet which can be very costly just for an office visit. Truly 24/7 assistant. Love it, I recommend to all who have pets. Thank you pet Pawp!!

Both of my dogs came down with a bad cough over the weekend, and it had me seriously worried. I didn't want to rush them to the ER vet just yet because they were both still eating and drinking. I spoke with a vet on Pawp, sent videos of my dogs coughing, and she was able to put me at ease. It turned out to be kennel cough. I was able to make it through the rest of the weekend without worrying about my furbabies. The vet also gave me some at home remedies I could use to go ease the symptoms.

I was able to speak to a vet late at night. I was comforting. It turned out to be kennel cough. So it wasn’t an emergency. The technology was a bit slow but effective.

My cat Toulouse got very ill suddenly. Unfortunately, he passed away shortly thereafter, but it was comforting to know that Pawp had my back, and they paid my vet invoice immediately. If you are undecided about Pawp, I'd say go for it.

I don't believe any of these so called 5 stars, excellent ratings are legit. My cat was fading, wouldn't drink or eat and was on deaths door when we did the video chat. She asked a couple of questions and said "Take him to the vets in the morning if he makes it and that she didn't know what was wrong but she did know it would not be covered with their insurance. I believe these raving reviews are fictional. Thank God I forced antibiotics on him even after he would throw them up instantly..I wouldn't give up fighting for his life without any help from Pawp!

Hi Jo Jo, I'm so very sorry you had that experience. We'll be investigating this immediately to ensure that our process was followed and that our vets are performing to our standards. Please note, the emergency fund is meant for life-threatening emergencies, and our vets have more than 10 years experience in emergency triage. Again, I'm sorry for your experience and we'll be looking into this more closely.

My dog (Juno) had a true emergency, she was vomiting blood and bleeding rectally. I chatted Pawp and sent a quick video of her and they had us out the door with our emergency fund activated in less than 5 minutes. We did have to pay a deposit at the vet to have her treated but once she was discharged pawp paid our deposit and the bet refunded us right away and then pawp also paid the rest of her bill, and this was an overnight stay and we didn’t end up paying a dime. They really saved our butts in this situation. And afterwards they even called to check in on Juno! A lot of people don’t realize this fund is ONLY for emergencies and you can’t take your dog in with the fund because they simply have an upset stomach. I do have insurance on some of my animals which would cover a visit for a limp, but that’s not what Pawp is for. I have 4 cats and a husky, and pawp covers them all for such a reasonable price. It puts my mind at ease knowing I have pawp on the back burner because animals are so unpredictable, we only had our backs turned to Juno for 2 minutes in the time span she managed to eat what caused her to bleed.

I am BEYOND ecstatic with Pawp! I stumbled across the company a few months ago and made the decision to purchase a membership just in case anything ever happened to my dog Oakley, assuming nothing ever would since nothing ever had, but you never know. Last week I took Oakley down to the Puget Sound to go swimming, a routine activity of ours, and noticed that one of his eyes later on into the evening was suddenly irritating him. Oakley's symptoms kept progressing and I saw some yellow discharge from his eye starting to form and continued to get worse. I immediately broke down, knowing my saline solution was not cutting it and I needed to figure out how I could afford an ER bill like this- I was a mess, until I remembered that I had a membership with Pawp! I got on my phone and logged into my Pawp account, and literally within 60 seconds I was connected via FaceTime with Dr. Thashia, who was fantastically helpful, supportive, and brilliant all together. Dr. Thashia instructed me to go to the nearest vet first thing in the morning to treat Oakley for what very likely could be and turned out to be, a serious form of Conjunctionvitus. She told me to be sure I went first thing to get him an antibiotic because if untreated, something like that in the eye can result in blindness and other health complications. I was so frantic and worried about Oakley, I had tons of questions, and Dr. Thashia told me not to rush or stress, to ask my questions, because she was "here for me". Not only did Dr. Thashia evaluate and advise my next steps of care with Oakley promptly, but she made sure before we ended our call that I got to a place of what felt like true peace of mind to me regarding Oakley's current state...! She is Absolutely AMAZING! I took Oakley the next morning to the nearest vet but he couldn't be seen until late that afternoon, exceeding the policy timeframe that Pawp states is necessary for claim eligibility when seeking payment for an emergency service or procedure. I decided to give Pawp a call and see if there was any possibility of utilizing some of the emergency fund with my membership to cover the cost of Oakleys procedure once I saw the invoice that day. I frantically read through the terms and conditions of the emergency fund use while the phone rang and suddenly felt doomed, because I knew I would not be able to use the emergency fund after reviewing the terms and conditions. But to my complete surprise, a couple of rings went through and then a HUMAN picked up on the Pawp phone! Patrick was on the line and literally went above and beyond to do everything he could to help Oakley. Patrick was alert and took immediate action- I called at 5:30pm PST and after hearing what happened to Oakley and my current economic circumstance, Patrick assured me he would do all he could to help, and asked for a photo of the invoice via email, promising me he’d reply within 5 minutes to confirm receipt of the invoice and that he’d call me back within 30 minutes to inform me if Pawp was able to make an exception for Oakleys care that day. Patrick put a real sense of assurance in my heart on that call and I can’t tell you how much value that holds in matters like this. Patrick kept BOTH promises of emailing me back and calling me within his advised timeframes, and best of all, when he called me back, I was told Pawp was happy to make an exception for Oakley’s care, and that my bill was legitimately already paid for!!!! No reimbursements, no paperwork, not a single cost for me to pay on my own! Patrick said “It’s what we’re here for, we really care and want to help Oakley as best we can!”- Enough said?....Hardly! The Pawp membership is the most valuable and trustworthy care I’ve ever had for my dog Oakley. I hope everyone has an opportunity to read about this experience and signs up for a Pawp membership for their pups as well!
