To be completely honest with Everyone
To be completely honest with Everyone. I think it’s pretty much a waste of my money.. yeah it sounds great.. “when in an emergency, you guys will Pay the Vet Directly..” BUT THE THING IS NOONE DOES IT THAT WAY. There isn’t a Vet that does it that way. They always want You to pay them. Then if u have insurance, take it up with them for a reimbursement, if u are gonna get a reimbursement. I was in an emergency , deemd an emergency by Pawp and I tried to it at my vet they said they will Take any Insurance Provider.. But when I said that they have to call this number.. to speak to someone and they will pay .. they looked at me like I was an idiot. I called EVERY VET IN A 100 Mile radius. (seriously..I figured since there was a long wait, why not call other places and Hopefully find one that takes it.) But not a 1. At all. Would Allow me To pay that way.. so my $4,987.65 vet bill was ONCE AGAIN OUT OF MY POCKET.. BUT LIKE I SAID YEAH IT SOUNDS NICE WONDERFUL IN FACT. But just not realistic.

Hi Thomas, I apologize for any confusion on how the emergency fund payment works. We do not provide payment for the upfront deposit, only the final invoice that is issued upon dispatch. We rarely run into any issues with vets accepting direct payment at the time of the emergency, but when we do, it's best if the user can call us directly so that we can speak with the clinic. I do apologize for your experience and I hope you'll give us a second chance!
