Caring, helpful support when I needed it I had an excellent experience with whiskerDocs through my Pets Best insurance. My dog, Blaze, had been licking his paw, and I became concerned after noticing a small lump that was sensitive to the touch. My usual pet hospital hadn’t answered or returned my call that day, so being able to chat with someone was a real comfort. Kathy, a Registered Veterinary Technician, was patient, thorough, and caring. She asked detailed questions, listened to my concerns, and clearly explained why Blaze needed to be examined by a veterinarian within 24–48 hours. She also explained what warning signs would require emergency care and offered practical guidance to help keep him from licking the area while we waited. I appreciated that Kathy was honest about the limits of a chat consultation while still providing useful support. Having a transcript afterward and knowing they planned to follow up added to the positive experience. Thank you, Kathy and whiskerDocs, for being available when Blaze and I needed help.
