I have ordered several wigs from Paula Young. And returned one. The one I returned was on sale when I purchased it, so they exchanged with a different one. I like that in the reviews youcan see pictures of women in that specific wig, because the models are not a good example.of the wig. I learned that when I ordered one and it wasn't right for me so I cut it. They wont take back any wigs that have been altered or the tags removed. So now I have one that I can practice on.

Buyer be ware!!!!!Terrible Terrible Service. Not honest! I ordered my first wig and some things to go with it on July 8/2020. When I got my first wig which was supposed to be blond, it was gray sent it back on July 10 /2020 and in about 2 weeks I called to see if they had received it. Said no. Called back in a few days and customer service said it was there on7/21 2020. They were just to replace the wig. They charged my credit card again for the the wig. Finally got charged off my credit card. The amount was less than I paid for the first wig. I called . Called again on July 29 said had not shipped, but would take care of it. Called back said it had shipped on July 30 2020. Waited at least a week called back and told them I want the tracking number. It was shipped Fed X then was to go to USPS. Could not find where it was, they said it was in Memphis Tn. And I would receive it August 8/8 2020. Here it is now August the 11, and still no wig. Called 8/11/2020 pm and they said it was still in Memphis Tn. Said I will receive it next week sometimes!!! Funny I have the USPS app and it does not show that information!! It indicated that it had not arrived at the USPS for shipping. It’s been a nightmare to say the least. I have ordered for years and It is the worst company for being dishonest. More than likely I will be filing a dispute for credit. And I will be contacting the BBB. Company’s like this should not be selling to the public and something should be don about it!!!!Take a look at the BAD. Reviews. You will not be happy ordering from this company!!!

Read the fine print on returns, because they will do anything they can not to refund your money. I bought a wig and like another complaint, mine also had hairs sticking up from the top and no way to hide it. Bad construction. The return info that came with the wig read that it must be in pristine order with all tags on. I looked at it , stuck in back in the box just as it came. After I returned it , a while past then I looked into why no refund. Because it was a clearance item, only an exchange or merchandise credit is allowed. I wanted my money back. They credited me $1.71. What that was for, I don't know. I argued with customer service about no refund. So I gave up. I don't want anymore of their wigs , so I'm out $90.00. Read the return policy. The reason I am taking the time to write this review is because I am new to the world of wigs and I have spent many, many hours researching wigs and have been burned badly in my quest to find a perfect everyday wig for myself. I have purchased about 7 or 8 wigs now and am growing more and more irritated at the entire process. There are many online scams out there. Wigsbuysupply was an absolute scam. Do NOT purchase from this Chinese scam company. They will completly rip you off and send you something that is NOTHING like what you thought you were purchasing. After researching the Ashlee wig by Paula Young, I decided that at least I was buying from a reputable company. The wig itself is a nice style and the color honey rooted is nice enough; however, the wig came with a bunch of short hairs that stick out all over the top of the wig and there is no way to hide them. If I were to attempt to pluck them, it would leave no hair at the top of the cap there are so many of them, and there is no way to make them not stick straight up. I find this to be unacceptable for the name of the company and the amount of money that was spent on the merchandise. Absolutely ridiculous that people put up with this.

They have been fraudulently been charging $15 to my card monthly for an undetermined amount of time! I sent an email 6 months ago asking why a charge showed up and wanted a refund. They continued to charge me after that! It was clear I had no idea why and ive never signed up for this. Ive seen this complaint about them since i noticed this. We need a class-action lawsuit filed!

THEY NEVER SENT THE WIGS, AND ALSO CHARGED MY CARD FOR WIGS I DID NOT ORDER. FINALLY, AFTER WEEKS I GOT A HOLD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY HAD ALSO NOT RESPONDED TO MY MANY EMAILS. TODAY CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THAT THEY ARE BEHIND ON SHIPPING ORDERS BUT INSISTED THEY HAD SHIPPED MY ORDER. I ASKED FOR A CREDIT ON MY CARD FOR ALL THE ORDERS INCLUDING THE ONES I DO NOT RECOGNIZE. THEY REFUSED. INSTEAD, THEY SAID THEY WOULD RESHIP THE ORDER “SOME TIME.” I TOLD THEM TO NOT SHIP THE ORDER AND TO GIVE ME A CREDIT. THEY REFUSED THIS. I TOLD THEM I WOULD REFUSE THE ORDER AT THE POST OFFICE. THEY TOLD ME THERE WOULD BE A $19.00 REFUSAL CHARGE ON TOP OF A 25% RESTOCKING FEE!!! BAIT-AND-SWITCH MUCH??

The wig that I'd selected from the pamphlet for $39.00, was nearly double the price on the website, and there was no information (code key) to enter to get the same discount online as was offered to me in the mailer. I didn't want to send a check because there is always the risk of some mishap occurring along the way, causing me to have to wait sometimes weeks only to discover that they never received it and then I'd have a check out there floating around that - if you I should fail to put a stop payment on - may cause my bank checking account to be inaccurate and/or disrupted for as long as it takes me to decide to pay the $15.00 or higher fee for a check cancellation. ...I ended up sending in my credit card information in the pamphlet order form, so I could pay by credit card. My choice to pay by mail was the only pay that I could get the price quoted to me for that specific wig (order and item number). Paula Young took three weeks to notify me, via post card, that the item was out of stock. I am appalled that they would advertise an item via a mailer and quote one price in the mailer and another on the website, for the same item number - and then make it near-impossible to get them to honor the quoted price, and then finally - after wasting weeks of my time, disclosing that they do not have the item after all. My overall opinion: Paula Young reels in potential customers by making them believe the item they select will be significantly cheaper than the price they end up paying, if they call their order in. ...And you will not get the item if you mail it in. I'm not advising you against patronizing Paula Young, I am simply warning you that you most likely will not get the item for the price quoted to you in a mailer.

It’s too bad one person in customer service can ruin it for the companies reputation. They need to start recording calls and having customer service surveys. Also the wigs themselves are super tiny. The average size kept slipping off my head. I won’t even send it back because I don’t want to deal with anyone there again. This business practice of a fee of 14.95 seems a bit deceptive. The person that took my cancellation was quite nice, the girl that took my initial call- nasty.
