I have purchased 6 or 7 wigs and a couple of ponytail wraps from Paula Young over a period of 3 years. My natural hair is white and very thin even 3 years after very harsh chemotherapy. It is not easy to find wigs and hair pieces in white that look natural. However, I have been very satisfied with the Whisperlite line that Paula sells. And, as far as I know the only line I know of with finer hair that is not so dense as to look like a clown or a helmet head. Take note you ladies who buy that course thick stuff from other companies, I can spot your wigs from a mile away. But I get many compliments and surprised looks when I tell people I am wearing a wig--looks like my natural hair did 10 years ago. I find the quality to be on par with wigs I have purchased in other brands--only I pay a lot less. And, I get handtied that I could not otherwise afford. I am tired of t he dissing I read from other reviewers--they must be ordering the wrong product.

Repeat customer! Very satisfied and Happy! Have bought three wigs and several products. I am not disappointed. I see a lot of negative response but every wig, price and quality of each wig was awesome for me.

I purchased three wigs from Paula Young, I called several times and talked to a supervisor, explaining my dilemma. I am disabled, can barely walk because I need a new hip. They said no problem, well when I received my refund it was only for half the amount of the order. I spent $319.00 and only received $156.00. They said one of the wigs was beyond the return date. So they did not give me a refund and instead of returning it to me the donated it to charity, without ever telling me. I have had my own business and also worked for some very large companies. I and they would never treat a customer like that. I will never under any circumstance do business with them again’

Nothing like the style in the catalog or online The wig I received was not the same style it shows online or in the catalog. Sides were way too short. The back shade was not was not darker than the rest of the wig and it was not tapered down to the nape of the neck like the pictures. The tag was the correct style and color so customer service said when I send it back I will be charged the $19 restocking fee and $7.99 shipping, even though the wig I received was NOT the same as in the catalog or online. It's very risky to shop on Paula Young.

My problem with this company is actually reaching a human being on the "all other problems" line. It is automated, and it requests your phone number. I have tried LITERALLY 12 times today, and each time the automated voice repeats a remarkably wrong number back to me. The number is so far from the actual number that I have to suspect it is a deliberate attempt to forestall a customer with a problem from reaching a representative. (My diction is actually quite clear.)

I have bought over 50 wigs and hair pieces from this company. For over 15 to 20 years I have needed to wear a wig or other hair pieces. It is my opinion that they have improved the quality and variety of styles and colors as time progressed. The most frequent comment I hear when people tell me they love my hair is "That doesn't look like a wig, it's so natural looking!" Or they feel the fibers and remark "But it feels so real". The new lighter wig bases are very comfortable in the summer heat and I have really appreciated that this year.
