I have been buying Paula Young wigs for DECADES! Before Covid-no handling fees. During Covid-"handling fees" started but were minimal. Fast forward to sale of the Paula Young company, handling fees are $5.99 - for WHAT???? By the time you add that to tax and shipping (unless you have a code for free shipping), you are adding half the cost of another wig to the charges. GOUGING!!!

If you expect to wear a wig right out of the box, you'll be disappointed. You have to work with them. Sometimes, it takes several weeks before you get it looking the way you want. I've worn Paula Young wigs for 30 years and have sent very few back. They may not always be perfect, but I think they're worth the money. Some people have said I have beautiful hair.

Ordered a brand new style and new color. Willows (not to be confused with Willow). Curly bob. Lightweight, low density and perfect style for me. What it needs is a lace front. No way to style it without the permatease showing at forehead. I hated to return but I did.

PY wigs are very good value for money. I compare them favourably with high-end basic cap wigs. They are well made, lots of hair, no wefts showing, nice ear tabs and often have Velcro adjusters. They fit well, are true to size. You’re not getting a $300 wig, but you aren’t paying anything near that, either. Great colours and styles. They could really improve how they deal with disputes though. And you’ll never know if you have a credit with them, they don’t notify you, or allow you to access or claim it easily. Their international shipping charges are brutal. Tidy up customer service and it would be a good company to deal with.

Very reliable company, easy to reach on the phone, prices are reasonable and there are no restocking fees as with many other wig companies. Refunds are a bit slow. I wish they had more of the higher quality wigs with lace fronts and mono tops but otherwise this company s a safe bet.

I have purchased 6 or 7 wigs and a couple of ponytail wraps from Paula Young over a period of 3 years. My natural hair is white and very thin even 3 years after very harsh chemotherapy. It is not easy to find wigs and hair pieces in white that look natural. However, I have been very satisfied with the Whisperlite line that Paula sells. And, as far as I know the only line I know of with finer hair that is not so dense as to look like a clown or a helmet head. Take note you ladies who buy that course thick stuff from other companies, I can spot your wigs from a mile away. But I get many compliments and surprised looks when I tell people I am wearing a wig--looks like my natural hair did 10 years ago. I find the quality to be on par with wigs I have purchased in other brands--only I pay a lot less. And, I get handtied that I could not otherwise afford. I am tired of t he dissing I read from other reviewers--they must be ordering the wrong product.
