Otter has been a godsend! I use it for work to transcribe interviews for stories I write for my publications, and it saves me hours of time each week. Instead of having to transcribe the interview myself, Otter does all the hard work! It does a great job with accuracy too. I've even interviewed international people with thick accents and Otter understands what they are saying (when sometimes I can't). I also absolutely LOVE the new "summary" feature! My son is also now using Otter for his college classes. He records the lectures and the summary feature helps him review the most important parts of the lecture. I have tried other transcription services and Otter is my favorite by far!

I've been using Otter.Ai for several years and it makes my work easier. As a research and faculty member, I use otter.ai to keep up with meetings, tasks, and research. Otter.ai integrates into meeting software and transcribes material with multiple speakers, which makes it easier for me to focus on the interaction instead of detailed notetaking. What is more, I can share my transcription with others to ensure that everyone is informed about meeting decisions and outcomes.

I discovered otter.ai via an advert on YouTube. I tried the free version and found it so useful that I upgraded at my own expense rather than relying on my employers. I have recommended it to other colleagues and they were suitably impressed. I find it particularly useful as I conduct a high number of interviews which previously took me several hours to transcribe now I achieve in minutes what it took me hours to complete.

Overall the experience is fantastic, and I cannot find a better service. I use this for English language teaching purposes - giving feedback to students and helping them identify areas of their speech which needs improvement. The only downside is that I record my students and upload their audio files. This means I have to be on a more expensive plan as uploads are too limited on the lower tier plans. However, it also means I do not use many of the other services on the higher tier and the monthly cost is too expensive to continue with throughout the year.
