Dreadful company with no empathy. Not worth one star for my experience in the last few weeks. I’ve ran out of pods early because I swim and they do come off and more often they just stop working even when not swimming, so I generally need to order a couple of weeks before my due date but they resist every time to provide more when I need them. It becomes a struggle every time and I’m just fed up with them. No understanding of care or concern for their customers.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you about the system itself because of the absolute incompetence of this company and anyone else involved. I have attempted to acquire an omni controller so I can use not just the one pack of pods but TWO packs that I have received due to no one filling the prescription correctly. I have gotten at least 20 calls from insulet asking me if I'm ready for onboarding to which I tell them, "no, I still don't have the controller". Each time they tell me they are going to do something about it, and contact the pharmacy, and, or try to get me an intro controller, but I never get a call back. The thing that frustrates me the most is the fact that you can use your phone for the system, but only once they get you or your insurance for $1300 for the controller. I truly believe this is a company that only worries about getting rich off of others who are suffering. Just get a normal pump and stay far far away from insulet.

Heel erg slechte klantenservice. Ook ik heb een leen PDM aangevraagd die niet tijdig geleverd kon worden voor de vakantie. Geen enkele vorm van meedenken, behalve: ja dat is jouw probleem niet die van mij. En vervolgens boos op mij, terugbellen om mij de les te lezen. Hoe ik het me in mijn hoofd haalde om te vragen naar een oplossing. Ze doen of het over een abonnement op de krant gaat in plaats van over levensbedreigende situatie die je probeert te voorkomen. Ik heb niet gekozen voor diabetes, en ervaar (levensbedreigende) stress als mijn pomp het zou begeven. Geen enkel begrip bij omnipod.

Customer Service did not help resolve the problem and given mixed messages. Lack of support when in vulnerable situation makes me consider other pump/HCL options available which may provide better customer care.

Poor communication and very difficult to arrange a replacement for a failed pod. 5 pods failed out of the 3 month batch. No standardised way to report a failed pod. The pod works well and does what it says until it fails before its replacement date. The amount of information needed to report seems excessive and needs to be done very close to the time of the fail. This requires a phone call which is not always convenient, especially if it fails at night.

De maximale tijd (30 dagen) van te voren een leen pdm aangevraagd om mee te nemen op vakantie. Een week voordat ik op vakantie ga nog steeds geen pdm ontvangen. Bellen en na twee telefoontjes blijkt dat er geen leen pdm's op voorraad zijn. Een leen pdm is dus een lege belofte. Wat het nog erger maakt is dat Insulet niets van zich laat weten en dat ik er zelf als klant achteraan moet bellen om erachter te komen dat er geen voorraad is. Zij geven vervolgens aan dat ze niets meer voor me kunnen betekenen en dat ik het op een andere manier op moet lossen. Het gaat hier om mensenlevens en kwaliteit van leven. Schandalig dat er op deze manier mee om wordt gegaan.

First spoke to someone last night who was extremely patient and helped as much as they could including next steps if that didnt resolve it issue. As it still wasn't resolved due to further problems, I spoke to someone else this morning as instructed and they were extremely helpful and resolved the issue. Both were very friendly and professional! The problem I had was my pod wouldn't connect with my receiver, tried everything to get it to reconnect but it wouldn't so I changed the pod, then it wouldn't connect to the sensor. Long story short, the old pod was still ticking out insulin and I was advised to put it in tinfoil and put in another room... and it worked!

I started looking into Omnipod 5 in mid January 2025 and now it is March 26th and still no training. My husband and I both will be on the Omnipod 5. We have all the supplies and insulin ready to go. I have call several different times and everyone just apologize and say they will past the information to the trainer in my region.so finally a lady texted me with alot of dates that she had already scheduled with knowing that my husband and I have been waiting. Instead of trying to meet our needs as customers she was willing to make us wait another whole month to train us. She is willing to make another date of April 31st.So that would make 5 months for training, this make me feel that we are not important as new customers. I have wasted my money for buying our insulin for the omnipod. I had the tandem pump but didn't like the tube but never went through as much as I have this company.
