Good idea, terrible execution of a company. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Very rude and treat people like they are the ignorant ones! Have issues with connection all the time. Company does not care. It is like pulling teeth to get a simple replacement which is needed all the time because their products fail often! Too much for a pump that malfunctions so much. Had to have my PDM replaced several times! Was in hospital because of this device malfunctioning. Wastes insulin all the time. Company does Not careanf does absolutely Nothing! Would be better of upper command was replaced. CEO, COO ... etc. Goodbye!

I'm new to the pod and already see some problems I'm going to have to deal with constantly. Here's a thought, why not make the adhesive part bigger or wider around the pod. That little plaster at the back doesn't hold the pod. Especially on children. Bathtimes, it falls off. And nighttime the child pulls it out and off.

My son called omnipod on March 5th as he was running very low on replacement pods. The operator agreed to send some out and advised they would be with him Monday 10th latest. Apparently someone from Omnipod tried to call him on March 6th, but he didn't reach the call. Today, he spoke to Omnipod as the pods haven't arrived, and was told they had reviewed his account and were not able to send any pods until Monday 17th. He explained he had run out as some pods had failed on application, and the operator said he should report every failure - he is new to Omnipod 5, and didn't realise this was the case. Now we have a dilemma on our hands - he needs to change his pod tonight and we don't have any spare. How can a diabetes company withhold pods and in turn put patient health and safety, and lives at risk like this, without any oversight or redress to anyone - particularly the healthcare professionals who care for people living with diabetes.

Customer service is wasting my time. lol contacting them about my PDM always losing connection to my dexcom g7 all of a sudden, and I have to re-enter it completely everytime it loses connection and I will copy and paste some sentences from their support agent "Janice Clara" "Check the pod itself, if he is there by going to pod info and see if you have the amount of insulin there" "To check the pod, if he there, communicating with the controller Sometimes, the pod lose communication as well, and if he is not linked he will not send any reading to the controller" WHO IS "HE"????? and the grand finale "My last troubleshoot advise should be, trying to delete and reenter the SN number on a car, making sure you dont have the car Phone on(uses Bluetooth), I understood you are in your office can be hard to try right now, Ill understand" I dont get why we're mentioning my car at all, I informed the person that my phone doesnt connect to my car, but they bringing up the car saying "silly idea i know but works" like seriously. get it together lol.... Please get some agents who know what theyre talking about, and can form a sentence, because everything i copied and pasted about was BROKEN

They just didn't do anything for me, and they really held me back, in my journey

My son was running low on pods due to failures. I phoned helpline for replacements I was at work therefore did not have serial numbers etc to hand. The woman on the phone was rude shouting listen to me. I was really distressed as my sons supplies were low they would not bring his 3 monthly delivery forward eventually agreed to replacement only because I had to fight my case. This company are putting children’s life in danger. I wish there was alternative similar product because right now they know they have monopolised the market. Shame on you.

Irresponsible Customer service. Every individuals have different excuses. No supply for 2 months. Only excuses.

After 1 week of using the omnipod 5 and I have had 2 pod failures and 2 sensor failures. Sent Omnipod a complaint with all the details on it. Abbott (the sensor manufacturer) replaced the sensors without issue, though I believe these failures were actually down to communication failures with the omnipod 5. Omnipod sent me a questionnaire with 25 questions on it. I told them I didn't have the time to answer all of these and that I had already covered most of these questions in my complaint. They closed my complaint down without further action. I asked to raise a complaint about there customer service. They stated my complaint was closed. Hopefully my healthcare team will be of more assistance and an alternative product can be sourced. Omnipod 5 closed loop sounds amazing, great marketing, and no doubt a few happy customers. But poor product quality control and poor customer service is the experience I have had.
