NU is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Because of National University, I am now employed at an AM 100 global law firm.

The curriculum is a a joke, classes are entirely irrelevant to my major (construction management), complete waste of time and money. Additionally, this school took no action when an openly misogynistic teacher was reported to them. National University condones misogyny.

My friend went there and they got his social security number wrong resulting in him getting incorrect grades that were not his. This put him on academic probation and they were completely unhelpful trying to fix the situation saying he had to write a letter and they would not take him off of academic probation when he wasn't even the one who messed it up in the first place. He is a veteran and they were completely useless in helping him. They passed him around from advisor to advisor and when asked to speak to their supervisor they repeatedly said they didn’t have one. They then said he would have to pay for the classes out of pocket because the VA would not pay since he was on the probation for grades that weren't his! TERRIBLE DONT DO IT

The worse school ever. Nobody here is on the same page, the recruit team just want to sign you up, once you are in nobody tell you what you need. When you feel like you are done with all you need to move forward, they kindly inform you that you can’t because your GPA is not enough (even after showing proofs that it is) This school is just a waste of time and money, I had to file a complaint to get my money back and until this day I have not yet receive an answer.

I earned a Master's degree with National in 2019 and the overall experience (counselor's, professors, & online classes) was great! I am now on the tail end of the counseling program and this experience has been a roller coaster. Online classes have been good. The professors teaching each course have been very helpful and supportive. I give that part five stars. It has been very difficult to get information or assistance from any counselor/advisor. I am getting different information from different advisors and become more confused than before. I am two weeks into my Counseling internship and if it wasn't for Margo Drallos, I wouldn't have any idea of what to do next. Prof. Drallos has been very helpful and supportive. I feel bad for emailing her with questions that advisors should be answering, but when I am able to speak to one on the phone, I am told they can't answer that question and refer me to someone else. I am being referred to counselors who are either passing me off for various reasons. Returning emails/phone calls 5-7 days later for various reasons, or I keep calling until I get in touch with someone. It's been very frustrating and numerous students in my classes have expressed the same experience. I know counselors/advisors are busy, but the overall positive customer/student service has been lost with the National University experience.

There is a physics professor who clearly did not look at my work and gave me an arbitrary grade (Read: D). When I tried to call him on it, he tried to wait the 45 day period before responding, so I could not challenge my grade. I saw through this and challenged it with ALL copies of my work, including time stamped emails stating my work was in on time, and screen shots of my work from tests. It took months for the review to come through to prove that I had an A in the class. Needless to say this shook my confidence in the program, the professor, and my own ability at heart. I don't know if I'll ever continue my degree there because of this experience. Also, the program is asking me to take another Algebra class but I had already completed algebra for my first undergrad and it's in my transcripts. Someone in the review needs to be talked to.
