I was looking to take one class for a credit to transfer to my university, and one of the customer service reps, Jess Brosvik was absolutely amazing!! She was so kind and put in tremendous effort to not only help me find the class I was looking for, but also asked me questions about my degree and what my goals were. I didn't end up taking the class at National University, but Jess was extremely supportive anyway and wished me all the best! She is an amazing human!

This is a school for responsible adults. You will find it challenging at NU if you expect your counselor to closely monitor your progress. You will have access to all the information you need about your journey, so if something seems off, you can easily identify it and reach out to a counselor for assistance. While you might occasionally have difficulty contacting your assigned counselor, you will always be redirected to another counselor. In 99% of cases, they will be able to help you with your needs. If, on the rare occasion, they can't, they will leave a note for your assigned counselor to follow up with you. I wholeheartedly recommend NU to anyone who can manage their responsibilities and does not expect others to care more about their future than they do. If that describes you, NU is an excellent fit.

Great experience. I am an NCU original, and the transfer to NU was smooth and great. I am proud to say I am an NU graduate.

National University is not for those who want to be babysat. It’s for the go getters. You have to be a self starter and proactive about your studies. Graduate school is not High school, where the teacher are pretty much your baby sitter. I’ll give NU a 10 Star if I had the opportunity. Best school for working adults.

I completed my masters in counseling psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy and had a great experience navigating such a complex program due to the state of California having so many requirements that are needed before and after graduation. Nonetheless, my instructors were able to answer all my questions and once I graduated, they made sure to provide my conferred degree with instructions on how to apply with the state for pre-licensure. I am now licensed and have applied everything I have learned into my current career as a mental health clinician.

Had awesome professors, it is what you make it

I used to go to this university, got my MFS and was able to get the book that they weren't sure would be released back out to me from their library so they were so great about paying for my book to send me. You have to be persistent with them to get them to respond is where I see some low reviews and even to email them. They will respond eventually.

I love this school I loved Ruth my advisor and I can’t wait to come back I miss my statistics teacher
